I was all over the place with this menu and everything we shared was spectacular. There were eight of us, and we ordered a lot to share. Start with a drink. MOI? A Brooklyn Sling, because I do think a gin-based drink is the best. Ford's Gin. Here is what we ordered: Kung Pao Chicken Wings, Samosas, Chow Fun, Whole... More

Based on what we had, crab shiu mai, pork belly and fried rice, I would like to go back and try their famous chicken wings. It was a truly enjoyable brunch over a pot of French press coffee. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff are quite attentive except for our coffee which came late. The only thing I... More

We feasted on appetizers of pretzel pork dumplings, szechuan salmon tartare, yuzo guacamole, and samosas. All were presented with perfect timing and explained with pride by our servers; all so ingeniously layered with flavors and crunch. The Korean fried chicken was over the top. Loved the crispy oyster and bacon pad thai. Great selection of local beers. The place was... More

Taldé has some very unique dishes and incredible seafood. A true culinary gem in Brooklyn, my whole family had a fantastic meal here.

Clearly a bit of a shlep if you are staying in Manhattan, but easy enough on the metro and definitely worth it. Fun, friendly vibe and excellent food - best as always if shared with friends. Samosas, chilli shrimp (hot!!) and pork shoulder the stand-outs.

I like Asian food. Must be one of my ancestors from Pittsburgh, who was once mayor and became the ambassador for the US to Japan in the early 20th century :). Well, I just learned that about me the other day. Anyway.my son recommended the place and we all went when I was on visit. We had the whole chicken... More

Getting here in holiday traffic from Fairfield County, CT was a feat-nearly 2 hours! That said, the effort was worth it. We were a table of 10 which lent nicely to eating family style, which was great as we got to sample lots of great dishes. The Kung Pao wings and the Brussels sprouts were standouts as excellent. All loves... More

Staying in the area for a month we visited many Brooklyn restaurants, however Talde was where we returned most. The highlight dishes for us were the yuzu guacamole (nothing like you'd expect), the Thanksgiving ramen (served that week), the chow fun (delicious pork noodle dish we couldn't overlook when ordering) and the branzino. For us, there were no dud dishes,... More

The ambiance is appealing and the server was welcoming and lovely. The portions were way too small. We were told by the server that the lobster tom kha soup had big chunks of lobster, and we could barely find the tiny pieces in the fairly spicy soup. Nothing we ate was fabulous, and we had to order additional dishes since... More

So I had high expectations: this place is always packed; it gets good reviews; it has a "food star" at the helm. What went wrong? Here are a couple of brief observations: 1. Even if the food was great, which it was not, I can't forgive a restaurant for serving food, at these prices, on plastic plates that I can... More
