61 Local has an awesome menu with lots of different items on offer, all with really fresh and locally produced ingredients. The avocado and feta toast was amazing, as was the grilled eggplant with miso and the bacon quiche. The place is quite open and the seating is communal, although you can book. We struggled to get a table both... More

The place is nice and big and has so many beer options so it's fine to go there. But every time we do the bartenders are slow, uninterested and not so friendly. Be nicer - you'll get much bigger tips!

Great place and great food! Simply made and affordable too. Loved the old carriage house it was in, very open and inviting. They have a great space for private parties too!

This place has a very prominent hispter vibe which is a little more unusual for the Cobble Hill area. The restaurant has an industrial vibe with hugely tall ceilings. They have a small lunch and brunch menu with very tasty items. I got the truffle grilled cheese and tomato soup and my friend got the mac and cheese and my... More

Beautiful space. Lots of beers to choose from. Decent pub food and sandwiches. Rumor has it their morning brunch is strong, Very pleasant staff During the week usually can find a seat at the bar, great vibe. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was standing room packed with parents and their toddlers. Okay.. Like this place a lot. Beautiful,... More

My husband and I went in around 2:00 on a Sunday and the place was very busy. Brunch is a popular thing to do around the area so most places seemed to offer an interesting brunch. The food I saw looked appetizing, but we only had a couple beers (the selection was great). The place has a bunch of community... More

Not at all what we expected from an early morning bar. Great tap list and great breakfast. We had the smoked whitefish and the sausage and grits. Really nice place, quiet, calm, nice decor. Would recommend to anyone as a first stop on a Brooklyn pub crawl.

For a casual beer or glass of wine in a large stripped brick wall loft like space, take a few steps west from the Bergen street subway in Brooklyn. There you'll find 61 Local. Casual food cleverly prepared by cheerful genuine young women, will satisfy your childhood palate. The heirloom tomato side plate in season with mint and melon sauce,... More

As noted by others this is a good place to get a drink and snack. The snacks of spiced nuts are very good and it is just a nice place to hang out with family or friends. There are tables in the shade which made it nice as it can be very hot in New York.

Nice bar but the menu is very limited. More of a drink and nibble kind of place. No kitchen . . . . just a small grill/oven behind the bar. Sandwiches are good but not very big. By "Small Plates" they really do mean small. You order food at the bar and they deliver it to your table. Service is slow... More
