"Make America hate again" --Worst service ever experienced in whole New York! The bartender Danny is a racist and attacks women. The bartenders are so ignorant in paying attention to the customer that one has to call for them, resulting in them getting aggressive and extremely hostile -calling us immigrants and starting to actively threaten us with his friends at... Walked into Mrs. Kim's on a weekend morning. Very informal and comfortable. The menu had one side that was typical NY breakfast/brunch and a second side that was Korean. The most difficult part was determining which menu to choose from. The service was friendly and professional without being intrusive. The food was great. The value good. There were four of... More

Enjoyed the cafe on our visit to Greenpoint. Service was attentive and the meal was quite good. The serving of smoked salmon was huge and the other dishes were all well prepared.

The place is small and tucked away in green point NY but it is a great place for brunch. The home fries may be the best I've ever had. All of us enjoyed our meals and the staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Given Greenpoint's trendiness, that's a tall order. We passed up a number of faux rustic looking places on Franklin Avenue packed with Manhattan Mommies taking their grown kids out to brunch, and decided on Mrs, Kim's mostly because it wasn't crowded. While a Korean-themed bar and restaurant isn't exactly the neighborhood diner, it did have a homey, neighborhood feel. The... More

We were the first couple to arrive at the restaurant. Inside was empty, so we waited. A gentleman ( our waiter) who had been talking out on the street, popped his head around the door and said "we could just sit anywhere, and he would be with us shortly, AFTER he had finished his cigarette"!!!! At this point we decided... More

One thing I dislike @ good Chinese and Korean restaurants is that you often have to travel to their "section" of town and they have lousy alcohol options, if any. Well, thank you Mrs. Kims for some good food (and yeah some good Korean soups) and great drinks!

Imagine having Sunday brunch in a quiet, still undeveloped, river view Greenpoint Brooklyn restaurant, relaxing, and watching joggers and dog walkers pass. They serve wonderful bloody Mary's and the best Eggs Benedict in town. Then comes the blasting music, engineered by a young dour-faced man who thinks you came in for karaoke. Oddly we first hear a lovely classical cello... More

We're staying next to this restaurant on the New York leg of our holiday and were told how great the food is here. When we showed up it was a super hot day and I wanted to escape the heat. I thought we'd sit inside in the aircon but the music (Janet Jackson I might add) was SO loud they... More
