Oddly, the extensive menu is the same here and at Wild Ginger and Jujube Tree in Queens. The food is tasty and portions full, and if you enjoy vegan Asian it will be hard to make a final decision. Service is oddly less than effusive as well as semi-responsive. Apparently, the liquor license is no longer valid so it is... More

Wow, what a delight to find this place! Delicious, fresh ingredients and an interesting menu! Very clean, nice atmosphere! Not expensive, in my opinion. I would have liked to try everything on the menu! I hope to visit again when I next travel to Brooklyn!

If you are anywhere within range of the delivery of this restaurant, take advantage of the opplrtunity and order. This is vegan cuisine that everyone will like. Excellent sauces compliment all the appetizers (spring or sumer rolls, bbq seitan, spinach shumI), or main dishes (try the wonderful curry stew or tofu teriyaki), stir fry, noodle soup or soba. It is... More

The lettuce wraps here are delicious and taste like (according to my husband the carnivore) "chicken." They also serve wonderful fresh juice drinks. I get the coconut water --served in its shell, so you can also scoop the meat out. This place also does promtp and fresh delivery--my kids ask for Dao Palate as a special treat for dinner.

With two kids and various dining limitations Dao Palate struck me as an ideal Asian spot on a snowy night in Brooklyn. The staff are very hospitable but not particularly well informed. Our waiter seemed somewhat awkward/intimated with our questions about the menu whereas one of his female counterparts was more adept at dealing with them. Everyone, including the pickiest... More

We ordered in after a long rainy day. The malasian curry was so tasty! The fresh juice of apple, cucumber and pinnaple was super good as well. Too bad the pad thai proved to be average.

I absolutely love the food from this restaurant. We have always ordered take out from here and the food has been simply delicious. We mostly use seamless.com to order take outs. The delivery is quick and stress free. The crispy vegetable tofu skin wraps were interesting - they were delicious but unfortunately no longer crispy. By the time it was... More

Really enjoyed my second visit here. Lovely calm, quiet atmosphere and consistently delicious food. Three of us shared two entrees and one smaller dish and had more than enough to eat. The chopped vegetables wrapped in lettuce leaves was full of interesting crunchy textures; the barbecued seitan (?) dish was yummy, as was the chap jae. The staff was friendly... More

Had the Crispy Pepper Soy Protein and Mango Soy Protein, with appetizers of Spring Rolls and Avocado Tartar. Thought the Crispy Pepper (over Kale) was fantastic, and the Mango was pretty good. Prompt delivery, nice options and overall would recommend. For what it is worth, seemed a little high in sodium, but just FYI - it didn't taste bad. From... More

We were staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express and stumbled upon this restaurant during trick or treating with the kids. The restaurant is fully vegetarian, as opposed to the restaurant across the road which has vegetarian choices. That restaurant was very good, too. Service was a bit aloof but very efficient. The server took an order for 4 without... More
