We really enjoyed the wonderful house-made breads and cookies on this visit. Last time we got some terrific sandwiches. It all looks and tastes amazing.

Walking into Bien Cuit, you are first greeted by the delicious scent of baking bread and pastries. This cafe smells amazing and we soon found out that it tastes as good as it smells. We tried several pastries over two visits, one visit clearly not being sufficient to sample the full range of delights they offer. The apple cardamom danish... More

This is a great bakery. Their breads are extremely tasty. I had lunch there and the sandwiches were wonderful. Although they have lots of coffee and tea options, I went for a hot chocolate. They offer pastries, sandwiches and drinks. The staff are very helpful and the owners are just great people to be around. You can feel their passion... More

Good coffee, delicious pastries (we had a quiche Lorraine and an almond croissant). Expensive - it was a nice occasional indulgence but not someplace I'd visit routinely.

I am a huge fan of this bakery, especially one of their breads, Campania. You could also get great pastries, sandwiches and coffee.

I have been baking bread from the Bien Cuit cookbook (bought it about a year ago) and finally had a chance to visit in person. The selection of bread is as lovely as I expected from the cookbook photos. It's not the least expensive bakery you will ever visit but everything is high quality. It's a nice splurge if you're... While the only items we purchased were bakery goods, they are incredibly great. The croissants are as if they were prepared in a French bakery in Paris, large, buttery, and flakey. The staff is very accommodating.

We stumbled upon this bakery as we were walking in the neighborhood. The sign out front advertised their pistachio and parsley bread, so I had to go in. The bread along with many other types, as well as sweets were beautifully displayed. There were beautiful illustrations and descriptions of each item, seemingly done by a local artist. Larger copies of... More

We were told about Bien Cuit by an artist from Paris who is now living in Brooklyn. Her description of the pastries was that they were even better than those in Paris, which seemed high praise from someone who would know. And while I can't pretend to be an expert on Paris pastries, I will say that the almond chocolate... More
