Not a great meal or experience. Party of six. Their signature steaks were inconsistently and under cooked. Raw on one half, ranging to good and then overcooked on remainder. Served tepid although side dish that came at same time was hot. Monkfish was good but tepid. The restaurant was extremely cold. They seemingly could not heat the room -- ceilings... More

Food was good and plenty but the room had a very cold draft so we couldn't enjoy the restaurant. We asked to move our table but were told there were no other tables. Everyone around us was also cold wearing their winter jackets to eat their meal.

Visited this beautiful spot on a Sunday evening with friends while visiting Brooklyn and had the best time. I opted for the Chilled Iceberg Salad and Grilled Octopus. They may have been the best wedge salad and octopus I've ever had. I still crave these delicious dishes nearly a year later.

Some foodie friends turned us on to this place. Originally I thought it would be a steak place, but there was only 1 steak on the menu. The menu actually had a lot of diversity and most of it sounded really good. We ordered brussel sprouts and a pretzel for apps. Both were delicious. Had the kale salad before dinner.... More

The highlight was definitely the dry-aged cote de boeuf for two - but then again, so it should be for the price. Oysters, grilled octopus and a special pork rillette were nice starters. Service was excellent and our server generously provided us with advice regarding her favourite Brooklyn eating spots (all three proved to be winners). Wine list good and... More

I have had a memorable burger here for lunch recently, but don't even think of walking in on a Sunday night at 7:30 PM. You and your guests will be very disappointed. We were politely told there would be a wait so ended up walking a few blocks down to Mooburger! Time is too precious--even for Prime! The sooner everyone... More

A great "meat" place as well as terrific "wursts" and other German delicacies. The burger at lunch (until 4-5 p.m. or so) is just delicious and at $14 very reasonable. Add the cheese and thick bacon and you've got a lunch burger that will prevent you from having dinner. Unless you're a real Pig !! (lol). The french fries are... More

Had dinner here and the food was great. You need to love meat, but the veggie sides are amazing. Who knew Brussels sprouts could be so yummy. Clearly popular so book in advance. Worth the trip out of Manhattan to Brooklyn

Comfy, German pub style restaurant in the neighbourhood. The homemade pork terrine was wonderful. We shared a Bibb lettuce salad which was generous for two. The wurst board was also ample for two to share and included 3 types of homemade sausage, pickled veggies, and sauerkraut.

Visited this German restaurant for brunch last Sunday. The best German sausages were the wurst ,various types on a sausage tasting board. The French toast were thick pieces of bread lovingly fried. The Bloody Mary was simply delicious!
