Great corner spot spot with outdoor seating. They have obviously had to adjust to current times, and it all worked for us. We had drinks with some food which was required under current restrictions. They were very efficient and safe, and they provided a set...service water cooler outside. Very nice!More

Title says it all. It's a little cramped in there but it's a solid vibe. I imagine it's a great option during the summer where you can presumably sit outside Good place to go with friends or with your gf/bf

I love Five Leaves. I sat at the bar and had an amazing piece of red snapper for dinner. At first I was concerned I made the wrong choice after eying several other dishes ordered by my neighbors. Super cool hip vibe in Brooklyn that...will not disappoint!More

It was a sunny winter day so why not? The wait for inside was over an hour! We enjoyed a grain bowl and a scrambled egg sandwich. The bloody Mary’s looked great but we had more vintage shopping to do... Great servers!

Had read good reviews of this place and they are spot on. Arrived early Sunday morning and had to wait about 10mins for table outside. Great service and choices. The food was excellent and arrived quickly considering how busy they were. It felt great sitting...in the sun on the pavement amongst a great mix of locals and other visitors.More

Just got back from a week in NY. This was the only place we visited we had a problem with. The problem is, to be blunt, the staff, or at least the two we had contact with. We arrived just before mid-day on a steaming...hot NY day. The restaurant was quiet - four tables were occupied outside, the rest empty. Inside was empty also. Only one table was laid so we asked the lady collecting places if we could sit there. She reacted quite angrily that no, we couldn't just sit there, we had to wait for the 'host'. Wasn't quite sure what we had done to upset her but we waited for the elusive host, still stood in the blazing sun. No sign of him. Looked inside, still no sign of him. Waited a bit longer. Finally he appeared. Again, asked politely if we could sit down. He took barely any notice and told us to wait. Note there was no one else waiting, inside or outside. His job I assume was simply to seat people and be polite. He seemed to be just walking around, not actually doing anything. So we waited, again, in the 30 degree heat. Finally he came out again. Ignored us, again. At this point I must admit I was getting a little frustrated. I asked again if we could sit down and his reply was just plain rude - telling us he expected us to show 'a little patience' in a sarcastic tone. As we had been waiting several minutes in mid-day heat when there were numerous empty tables and no one else waiting, I thought we had already shown exemplary patience. At this point we gave up and went someone else - Sarabeths in Union Square - where staff are polite. I don't understand why a restaurant would have such rude cold staff at front of house. We have not had this problem anywhere else. It is a small thing to be polite. Needless to say, we wont be going again.More

We tried this place recently for brunch based on a Friend's recommendation. We both had the brekkie which was pretty good.... the hash browns were tasty and the 2 sides that come with the plate were also good. I tried my brekkie with char and...was happy to have char again after many years. The Place is small and tables are quite close together but service was pleasant and quick.More

Brave the wait and order the green tea noodles for brunch. It's a beautiful dish, the flavors are excellent, and the presentation is gorgeous.

I enjoyed my visit to Five Leaves. It’s a trendy Brooklyn kind of place, a strange mix of a low key venue with a sophisticated menu. The food was very nice although but space is very small. I wouldn’t recommend going there with a party...of more than 4. The service was attentive as well.More
