We have eaten here many times over the years, often before or after attending BAM. The food is authentic and well presented. A great place to begin or conclude an evening.

I often go to performances at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and a couple of friends turned me onto Caffe e Vino. Delicious! I've eaten there about ten times and will go back many times in the future. Great food, great service, and reasonably priced. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

A favorite of ours and for good reason. Wonderful atmosphere (the servers speak Italian!), excellent food, and gracious service. The polenta con funghi is melt in your mouth goodness, the gnocchi are like pillows of flavor, and the polpettine - I dream about them. You can't go wrong here!

The two rooms are cozy, the service is good, but the food is: meh. An eggplant rolatini stuffed with seafood arrived lukewarm, with the béchamel congealing on the top. The pappardelle special was lukewarm and tired. If this was fresh pasta, it had sat around awhile. The bread was not crusty Italian but a puffy faux focaccia. Italian food depends... More

Full disclosure: we did not eat at this restaurant. We showed up 30 minutes before out 5 p.m. reservation (we had tickets at Barclays). The restaurant was locked up. They told us they didn't open till 5. We asked if there was somewhere to have a drink nearby while we waited for them to open. They sent us around the... More

A small restaurant with a select menu of typically Italian food. Very tasty food, sensibly sized portions and a good selection of beers and wines. A perfect place for supper.

Our most recent visit on Sunday with a couple of friends was totally enjoyed. We've been there with our family as a small and large group. We've had our Christmas dinner there...the food and staff we give an A+. Needless to say, we'll be back soon. You can never get too much of a good thing.

DeKalb is not a thrilling avenue, but this charming small restaurant is a delightful bit of it. It is close to the Polonsky Theater, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Harvey theater, and slightly farther, the Barclay Center. The sound level is somehow quite low, so you can converse with friends. The tables are spaced closely so you might make... More
