Great sushi. The sushi chef came over to our table to help us decide what to order. So did the waitress. Needless to say, the service was spot on. The fish was fresh & delicious. The white tuna (escolar) melted in your mouth. The salmon was incredible too. If we are ever in Fairbanks again we will definitely be back!

My son and I had lunch there, we were the first ones in when it opened. The waitress was nice had a guy (worker) was sitting at a table the entire time we were there watching Korean TV on a computer. We both ordered the Teriyaki Lunch with Beef and when it first came out to the table I was... More

Dinner tonight with the family at Wasabi Bay on South Cushman. As we experienced on a previous visit, great sushi. great flavors, warm attentive service, all in a pleasantly simple atmosphere. A minor mistake regarding ingredients in a sushi roll was met with a quick apology and offer to make it right. Hit all the right notes, no problems... Not... More

So I've eaten my fair share of sushi on Fairbanks. This is hands down the best. The sashimi is the freshest in town. Udon is done right. But my favorite is the salted grilled mackerel with rice. If you are looking for a real Japanese restaurant with more to offer than teriyaki chicken, go here!!!

This is some of the best sushi I have ever had, definitely the best I have ever had in Fairbanks. I recommend the Lion King Roll. It is delicious. Wasabi Bay definitely does not disappoint.

Hubby and I are so happy to call this our favorite sushi place in Fairbanks, and a top sushi place in Alaska. At first glance, I was scared. It is right next to this shady looking dollar store and I thought we were in the wrong place. Nope, right place. Thankfully, when you walk in the restaurant, there is a... More

I checked twice because it almost seems like we ate at a different restaurant from the other reviewers, but, no, same restaurant. We had seen from other reviews that the restaurant was not impressive from the outside, so that was not an issue. I like all restaurants to be clean but am particularly concerned by the cleanliness of a sushi... More
