We got two meals to go. You don't get very much rice and beans that way but the quality was acceptable for the meats. Salsa was lacking a bit of flavor however, but the prices are pretty affordable.

I had the adobada gordita and taco, and my husband had the adobada taco and King burrito. The food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced.

TV and radio ads make this place out to be a stand-out and authentic Mexican eatery. I say it's decent but not fantastic. I ordered the Adobada Combo dinner expecting the red chili seasoned pork to be bursting with flavor and zest. It lacked flavor and was mostly bland. Thank goodness they have a salsa bar. I had to doctor... More

Food is okay, but the cashier asked me to sign my credit card statement by putting it down on the counter right in a sticky ooze leftover from spilled Coke. She asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes, so she put that one in the goop as well. Cannot recommend this dump to anyone.

This place is great for mexican food when you are rushed on time. It is served up fast and usually pretty good. I enjoy eating here.

The food tasted great. But I really disliked the cleanliness of the place. Being Hispanic I know they could do a way better job

The food was okay, But I would not, could not say it was the best in Fairbanks by any stretch. General cleanliness is lacking as told by looking at the windows, sidewalks covered with litter, and the top of the hot sauce with its disgusting crust. The health department needs to check this place out.

Being married to a Hespanic woman who knows her way around authentic Mexican cuisine, I find myself overly critical of Mexican establishments. Taco King may be designed for like a "take out" restaurant, but the quality of food will bring you back for many repeat visits.

I gave them a few chances, but they screw up the most basic orders every time. It's not even very good. Highly recommended NOT eating here. Gallo's is much better all around.
