We were coming to Boston to help our daughter find an apartment for her job move. We drove into town from NY – and thought to stop at the JFK boyhood family home in Brookline – which we should have researched better as it was closed in January. No real harm done – so having been in Boston many times... More

Food is very good - freshest seafood in town. Tiny place always busy, but very friendly service. When I'm looking for a place to eat in that neighborhood I always walk by Daily Catch first.

friends of ours [for many yrs] enjoy the Old Town location every time they travel to Boston & gave us the tip - we loved it; I had the calamari platter and the black ink pasta aglio/olio [magnificent and enough to have leftovers for lunch today] my wife had monkfish w/ marsala sauce (and she ordered a 2nd portion to... You could easily drive by this restaurant. It's small and has an unassuming front. Inside, the decor is just like the outside. You may want to pass it up, but stay for the food. Fish and seafood can't be beat. The menu is limited, but you'll be pleased with everything listed. Get there early, or be prepared to wait. The... More

We've been going here for at least 10 years, and have NEVER been disappointed. The seafood is exceptionally fresh, and the black squid ink pasta is unparalleled. Whenever we think we should go to the North End for good Italian seafood, we always decide to go to Daily Catch on Harvard Street in Brookline, where parking is more convenient. Although... More

Great neighborhood restaurant, small and pleasant. Great service and outstanding fresh fish very well prepared. Get there by 5:00 if you don't want to wait outside in the heat/cold/rain but worth it whenever.

The Travel Channel has a winner! Brookline is a very nice town in the Boston area. We stayed at a B&B less than 1 mile away. This small place only has eight tables so go early (4 to 5 pm). EVERYTHING we ordered was great. Be sure to request anchovies on the Caesar salad. My wife had the Linguine with... More

A friend of our Boston College son recommended this place and so by chance did the innkeeper at the B&B we are staying at, so all roads led to the Daily Catch. We're hooked for sure. We got there just in time (by 5:45 on a Saturday) to beat the line that soon formed and snagged a table where we... More

We took the family. Boys shared the large serve of fish & chips which was plenty for 2 kids under 10. Our food was fresh and delicious & I loved being able to watch the chef in action from our table. No reservations though so might be tricky to get a table, particularly for a larger group.

Very good fresh seafood. A bit noisy and crowded. Always a line. Worth the wait due to variety and quality. Nice wine options.
