La Morra is a superb Italian restaurant in a surprising location -- on Route 9 near the intersection of the Jamaicaway. They have a broad menu of Italian dishes, including pastas, fish, shellfish, meats. The special dishes of the day always seem so good that it isn't even necessary to review the full menu. Great selection of wines by the... More
My son and I had dinner here last minute. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The little tapas appetizers were great, and our primi and secondi were out of this world! Well worth the trip, we will certainly be back! Thank you!
The food is excellent and it is such a friendly, warm atmosphere. The bartender's suggestions for wine and food were spot on and it was really easy to chat with the other patrons at the bar.
We dined at La Morro last night for the first time. We went to celebrate my husband;s birthday and our anniversary. We had heard rave reviews and that lead me to choose it to celebrate. We were very pleased with our meal. The location is non-descript in the middle of set of store fronts on Route 9 east. For the... More

My seafood soup/stew was full of muscles, several shrimp, and some assorted other seafood. Very tasty, nice portion size. My son had pickled veggies to start, which were nicely done, good flavor, not overpowering on the... More
We were visiting family in Boston. This is one of their favorite places--for good reason. Nice ambiance. Excellent service. Not inexpensive, but high quality is worth the price. Kids enjoyed pastas. Insalata Tagliata was large and very good. The Cacciucco was loaded with seafood and very tasty. I rarely find beef tongue on a menu, but theirs (Lingua du Manzo... More
