We had the vegetable platter something and the grilled lemongrass chicken on vermicelli patty. Both were very good. The lemongrass chicken was served with rice paper wraps you dip in hot water and then stuff with the various chicken, thai basil, carrot/daikon salad etc unlike the version we are used to that substitutes lettuce leaves for the rice paper. Prefer... More

I stopped into Pho Lemongrass to order a Pho Chicken Soup. Upon tasting it, it was clear that something was weird about the soup. It had a clearly beef taste versus chicken, and when I asked the waitress about it, lo and behold, she said that they make the soup with beef broth versus chicken! Strike One. The waitress said... I use to eat lunch here all the time but then moved away. I happened to be in the area recently so I swung in for take out. It still tastes the same. I highly recommend the vermicelli with peanut sauce. Yum. Coolidge corner is a fun area too - Lots of restaurants and shops.

Near Coolidge Corner and Trader Joe's, Pho Lemongrass serves good Vietnamese food and good VN with an American twist. Look for the authentic dishes and order them if you want a VN experience. For me, these are Canh Chua, the hot pots, the noodle/wrap constructions, house samplers, etc. I sometimes indulge in something like mango chicken, which is good, but... More

Pho Lemongrass has been a staple in Coolidge Corner in Brookline for many years. It is reliably very good Vietnamese food which is served well and with a smile. The menu has pretty authentic food (e.g. Dac Biet, Banh Hoi) as well as more american Asian dishes (e.g. teriyaki, crispy duck). The prices are not as cheap as they used... More

On the list of recommended local restaurants from the Longwood Inn. A family style restaurant with reasonably good service. The food itself was reasonably good though not fantastic, and quite authentic. Price is reasonable.

The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired I'm afraid. A bit of sprucing up needs to happen here. The mai tai's were fantastic and the food was equally fantastic, however. The shrimp ShuMai was excellent as a starter and the spring rolls were good too. The main dishes of basil shrimp and pad tai were excellent. I would recommend... More

The food here is surprisingly good. I had Lemongrass Boneless Duck; duck was flavorful and juicy, vegetables crisp and tasty, the sauce well designed. My wife had Pad Thai, also excellent. I had a Fog Cutter cocktail which was a treat. Only disappointment was the Spring Rolls, which lacked the fresh pop of good ones. Prices fair, service OK.
