Table for eight please.... not a problem. We were sat and our server arrived quickly, she made suggestions, was pleasant and attentive throughout. All of our food arrived, it was tasty and worth it. The decor is cool and a nice place to be.

The best fried okra this southern girl has had. That goes for the cream corn too and the fresh sweet tea. The meatloaf was delicious. The club looked good too. Peach cobbler was the only slight disappointment , it was more like a bread pudding...More

There are so many places in Savannah to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner that it's hard to choice. The SOHO, though, is a no-brainer! Inside, it's charming and large, and as large as it is, it's warm and inviting. You'll be surprised at how fun...More

Treat yourself to a great meal here, the food is warm and comforting and the prices are great. I added fried jalapeños to my grilled cheese and it was perfect. Try the sweet tea for a refreshing drink and some fried okra for a satisfying...More

Ate here for Sunday Brunch. The food was terrific and vegetarian friendly. Service was excellent (thanks Beverly). Ambiance was really cool because it is a former auto service garage.

This restaurant is open only from 11:00 - 3:00 and doesn't take reservations; so when we arrived with a large party at opening hour we joined several other large groups following a local high school graduation. They were able to seat all 14 of us...More

Hello, Unfortunately the only day we accept reservations is Sunday brunch. We're a casual restaurant so we operate on a first come first served basis.

Description
Soho South Cafe has been made famous by its patrons as one of Savannah's staple weekly lunch and Sunday brunch spots. Opening its doors in 1997, Soho South Cafe is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Savannah, appropriately named after the iconic New York City neighborhood for its proximity to nearby shops and entertainment venues. Built originally as an automotive service station in 1945, the building sat vacant for a number of years before the restaurant's original owners acquired the space and transformed it into a restaurant. Most recently, the restaurant was acquired by Daniel Reed Hospitality and remodeled to make improvements to the existing model which represents the latest adaptation as it stands today. The design of the restaurant incorporates elements of iconic, archetypal New York City. The quirky, eclectic esthetic lends a sense of humor to the monumental, vast interior space which includes the buildings original exposed elements such as the steel windows, iron trusses, and solid wooden garage doors. The overall atmosphere results in a casual dining experience that works perfectly for lunch and private events.
