Tavern opened at 5 on Saturday night, we got there at 5:05 and it already had an hour wait. However, it was well worth it. Being new visitors, we did not mind walking around to view scenic Savannah during wait time. We were served while standing in the Tavern during our wait, and got to sit near the fireplace in... Arrived late on a Saturday. Stopped here for dinner after checking in at Planters Inn next door. Great meal. Great staff. Excellent atmosphere inside. Love the live piano music and fireplaces.

This is a great place to stop in to after having had your dinner, as there is a lady who plays the piano there nightly. Try to get a seat on the sofa in front of the big fireplace. Such a cozy room!!

We seated ourselves on a busy Sunday evening, and were planning on just having a drink, but were told that they were busy and were saving the tables for diners. So we ordered our dinner there. The Planters Tavern is really an extension of the Olde Pink House Restaurant, rather than a separate bar as is implied by its name.

Great food and atmosphere. This restaurant is below the PINK HOUSE. All the old brick made you get the full Historical feel. Very cozy and romantic.

This was our second time at Planters, but I enjoyed it so much more this time. The music was excellent (Billie Holliday, and alike), and the bartender Katie makes a mean dirty martini. You're absolutely transported to another time. Awesome spot for pre-dinner drinks, and while you could actually have dinner there, there are very few tables and they don't... More

We just stopped in after dinner at the Olde Pink House upstairs. At the piano was a flamboyant little old southern lady, who was wonderful. We listened to some Frank Sinatra tunes and the like, by the fireplace (well, fake fireplace). We didn't eat there, so don't judge their food by my stars.

Great little spot under the Old Pink House. Awesome vibe if you get a good table. We only drank here as we ate upstairs. Worth a visit. Small. Not really a kid-friendly place. Upstairs is kid-friendly.
