We've been here to eat many times, and have always enjoyed, but this time we were here just to have a beer. Anyone (friendly) sitting at the bar will always feel like and be treated like a local. Fun chatter between staff and guests, and staff often hang out during off hours. Good (but not great) selection of beers could... More

Wait was longer thatn we were told and then the wait for our food was ridiculous. It took 45 minutes before we got our food after ordering. I must say the food was delicious and generous. Will I go back....doubt it. Took a turn for the worse when I went to the bathroom, incredibly dirty. Soap dispenser barely working and... More

"Feels like Portland, Oregon" probably only has meaning to some readers, but it's real — requires a funky vibe, real people working and eating there, good eats. Golden West labels itself Southwestern, and it does have a number of "Mexican" dishes on the menu. Also plenty of vegetarian listings and killer Buffalo brussels sprouts. Biscuits for brunch (go early; they... More

Four of us ate here before going over to the miracle on 34th street. The service was outstanding and the place is way cool. My carnivore friend said that his hamburger was one of the all time best. All the fries were great. My husband had a chicken sandwich that was just okay. I had the unchicken vegan noodle salad... More

One of our favorite places to bring family and friends for dinner. Everything is delicious. Some of my family has started coming for brunch too.

Stopped here (Hampden) while visiting my daughter in college. Cute area with lots of shops and restaurants, Golden West drew us in with the promise of all day breakfast (sometimes you just want breakfast for dinner, you know?). A bit dark and dank inside but the food and service were solid. We started with garlic fries which were delicious (and... More

We were there this past week for brunch and had kids and adults at the table so our brunch included milk and pancakes and Bloody Marys and Huevos Montulenos. We also had a Mimosa, the Farm Plate, Huevos Rancheros, a GW BLT, yogurt bowl and coffee drinks. Everything is very good at GW. They almost always have a line but... More

Generally the food here is very good. The Hopi pancake was flavorful, but the zuccini one was definately not. The brie is placed in slabs on the pancake and then the whole thing is broiled or baked somehow. All the cheese melts and runs away, leaving the pancake swimming in a greasy pool. I poured the liquid off and ate... More

We've been going here for many years, since it was located across the same street in a much smaller location. They have breakfast available all day. Also burgers, quesadillas, huevos rancheros and other interesting items. People who come here the first time are always intrigued by the varied and unique menu. All menus are physically repurposed old vinyl album covers.... More

Different kind of décor. Waited for a table but it was worth it. Food was pricey. Service was good. Walls were covered with different paintings of the last supper and other various groupings. Seating was also creatively put together. ARtsy
