This is probably the best restaurant in the city. They aspire to perfection and typically achieve it. I've taken many, many clients to dine here and they without exception rave about the quality of the meal and service. World class wine list. Bring your wallet stuffed with cash cuz perfection isn't inexpensive (Nor should it be.)

Expensive. Hard to digest rich food? Usually excellent but not always. At times the bathroom has been dirty. Not good enough for this level of pricing. What more to say. If I want an imaginative wonderful meal I would pick Woodberry Kitchen before Charleston and it is much less expensive. Still I am glad it is here just wish it... More

We dine at Charleston as often as we can, which means special occasions, because it is a dining experience and the experience is worth the price. I feel so fortunate to live just north of downtown Baltimore so that I can enjoy special occasions here. From the moment you arrive at the restaurant, you know that your evening at Charleston... This is a wonderful restaurant where you order dishes and accompanying wines by 3, 4, or 5 courses. The chef is exceptional and present in the dining room. Her menu is full of local seafood and produce prepared in interesting and exciting ways. She is true to many Maryland traditions and yet puts an incredible touch on her food. This... More

I was in Baltimore for a convention and had dinner with fellow attendees at Charleston based on the excellent reviews. It lived up to them. Be prepared for the pricing structure. You pay a fixed price depending on the number of small plates you order. Dessert is included, so save room. Everything was excellent. As was the wine and cocktails.... More

I can't even tell you how much I love this restaurant. Yes, it is expensive, but it is as close to a perfect dining experience as you can get in my opinion. This visit, we went for a belated Valentine's Day dinner. The menu is always changing here, but the format is the same. You may select 3-6 courses (dessert... More

Simply one of the best meals I've ever had. I ordered a 5 course meal and Chef Wolf came over to our table and put my experience together for me. This is an extraordinary restaurant, very memorable.

This is a special event restaurant, and worth all the hype that you hear about it before you dine. You can choose your number of courses, and everything is presented beautifully, and tastes amazing. Definitely worth a special trip to Baltimore!
