I am from the deep south soul food kitchen, where black southern cooks can cook and season their many different food dishes to perfection ! There are very few restaurants and carry-out shops, food is not fit for a dog to eat.....really ! Maryland should be ashamed for losing their edge for out standing good food. Harbor Que is like... The food was good, but for the price we expected bigger portions. Also the 2 or 3 meat platters come served as a sandwich- all the meats piled together. the pit beef & brisket were very tasty.

A group of friends and I were wondering around Federal Hill trying to find somewhere to eat at 8:00 on a Saturday night after a college football game. Fortunately for us, the other places we tried to go were full of over served college aged kids so we stopped into HarborQue and were pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, friendly staff. Laid... A 9 dollar sandwich should include more than a 25 cent bag of chips - period. The smoked turkey was not much more than cold cuts heated on a bun. Nothing wrong with the sandwich beyond that, but it's not exactly a top quality restaurant in terms of atmosphere.

We visited on a Saturday evening, and the place was fairly empty, but that may have been due to the Baltimore marathon that day; in fact they were running low on the brisket because runners reportedly devoured most of the beef cooked that day. The ribs are very yummy, the brisket a bit too salty and dry, the pulled pork... More

Brisket was excellent – great meat flavor. Pork was also very good – especially when you put on some of the pig pickin’ bbq sauce [vinegar based]. Great baked beans, decadent mac and cheese, real nice hush puppies. I would rate excellent for the food, but its pricey. I guess I need to consider location and all, but for two... More

I was deployed for over a year and drive down by Fort McHenry to grab some food and there was no Harborque... only condos. I was devastated until I found out they moved. The food, it's the best BBQ once you leave the south. I'm biased but they're still really good. The brisket is tender and they don't drown it... More

My visit to Harbor Que on February 22nd was like being at home. The atmosphere and service was outstanding. My friend and I ordered the Chicken and Rib Combo. Excellent. The ribs were meaty. Chicken perfectly cooked Sides were Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens with a addition side of Hush Puppies which were very good. Harbor Que is definitely... More

I stopped into HarborQue after having been craving BBQ for awhile. Walked in and was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. The woman working the counter was such a sweetheart, just had such a great personality that made you feel incredibly welcome there. I asked her for a suggestion and she suggested the ribs and chicken. I went ahead... More
