What a pleasant surprise! Located in Baltimore's Little Italy, Piedigrotta serves up a wide assortment of scrumptious dishes. You might expect superb bakery products and you won't be disappointed but your tastebuds will also thank you if you enjoy a hearty meal. Choose from carbonera, meatpie, meatballs, pasta, a mouthwatering veggie lasagna and much much more. This restaurant is the... More

We stopped for lunch about noonish but by the looks of all the breakfast pastries, and coffee and tea available, it is easy to see why it is a highly popular morning place ☀️❤️🍩🍰☕️My husband says it was the best eggplant Parmesan he EVER had , and he is almost 70 years old, so that says a lot 😜🎉 I... This was our third visit to this bakery over the past couple of years. Seems like there was less baked goods then prior times. Not sure if they are cutting back or just our memory.

Came here based on warm reviews from the TA community, but we found a deserted place with a quite rough salesperson and sub-par food. We had croissants and a chocolate croissant. She brought the food to the table saying "I hope it was OK I warmed them up." Next time, ask us BEFORE. Really not living up to the hype.... More

I was visiting baltimore and a friend told me about this place. What a gem. The place is warm, clean and so friendly. All the food is home baked / cooked and so darn good. We were lucky and were invited into the kitchen to see how they make their goods. There hardier food (pasta dishes, etc) were outstanding. Bring... More

How can you go wrong with the guy who invented Tiramisu? Bruna reminds me of all my aunts and grandmothers rolled into one. (Mom is still the best, though). Always the best ingredients, made to perfection, and more than enough desserts to bring home for tomorrow. Absolutely the best place in Little Italy.

We would all give this Italian Bakery Cafe a "10" if we could. We stopped (father, mother, son, his wife, his 4 month old daughter, daughter and her 6 year old and 2 year old daughters)?on own way home to Northern VA and Richmond VA from a trip to York PA. Momma Bruna pulled out the red carpet for us... More

This bakery and eatery is an authentic Italian eatery in Baltimore. My friend and I had breakfast- delicious; I recommend the meat pie. After our meal, the owner took us in the kitchen and gave us dessert to take home; he was such a nice man and I enjoyed talking with him. If you're in Baltimore- you must visit this... More

This is an awesome Italian deli just a two blocks down from Hyatt hotel. Everyone is very helpful and the pricest are very reasonable for the amount of food. The canolis are excellent, italian sub was very fresh and tasty as well as the Italian lemon cookies. Prices very reasonable for delicious food!
