Staying in the vicinity for a conference, we were very fortunate to try Wit and Wisdom for dinner. The ambiance is nice but the food is fantastic. It's a relatively small menu but every item (at least what we tried) is perfectly prepared. Cocktails were great, the scallops were delicate and flavorful. The dessert (Lemon Meringue) was amazing. Finally, the... More

Restaurant was less than half full, yet it took 45 min to order first cocktail. Another 20 min before we were ASKED if we would like bread and butter. Husband's meal was ok, not sensational. My dinner, Roasted Chicken in polenta, was medium pink, very undercooked. It was 75 min before meal arrived. No wait staff after that until dessert... More

We stayed in the 4S for 3 nights and so had the full smorgasbord of Wit and Wisdom offering - unfortunately no smorgasbord available - that said the food and service was first rate. The crab benedict was a delight as was the fact that they brought proper butter (none of the whisked fluffy stuff) as well as peanut butter.... More

We had Sunday brunch here. The buffet is stunning...both visually and quite abundant. However what it lacks is much flavor. The food is just mediocre especially given the price. Personally I think that they should offer both a bottomless mimosa price and a non alcohol price but that is beside the point. The scrambled eggs were mushy, the biscuits hard... More

I am surprised by these negative reviews. I visited Wit and Wisdom several times over the course of a week while in town on business. I sadly did not stay in the hotel, but experienced most of the bar menu and a decent sampling of the dinner menu in my several visits a few weeks ago. Every single dish I... More

We decided to stop at the restaurant mainly because relatives were staying there. We found that the "Kitchen Table" was a special table that sits 12 people and has specials on a daily basis. The special we were interested was one dollar oysters and 5 dollar glass of sparkling wine between 5 and 6 only. We wee a group of... More

If you want an evening to remember book a seat for the wine tasting dinners at Four Seasons. Each dish is as beautiful as it is tasty and the wine is superb. The pours are generous, but not overly, and each rich wine is explained in detail. The courses are presented by the chef and are simply amazing. It is... More

We went to Wit and Wisdom for an early dinner on Friday. When we sat down, we were greeted, one at a time, by several servers. We were immediately confused as to who was doing what. We gave our wine order to one person, our appetizer order to another, and our entree order to a third. As a result, everything... More

Lovely setting overlooking a beautiful section of Baltimore's harbor. Located on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel, this is an excellent place to spend the evening. The bar is always packed...very hip crowd. The menu has excellent salads and both fish and steak options. The strip steak was cooked to perfection. Valet parking. Reservations are usually necessary.

Thank Richard J
