My wife and I enjoyed a stay in Astoria on Saturday March 19, 2016. We made a 7:00 pm dinner reservation at Bridgewater Bistro. The front desk lady at the hotel we stayed in suggested three seafood restaurants we might enjoy. We spent a few...More

Thank you for taking the time to post a detailed review of your recent experience at our restaurant. I am very sorry we missed the mark in so many ways on your visit. We were, as you indicated (and we anticipated), especially busy on the...More

We have not had better service EVER in a restaurant. Our server, Gilly, was STELLAR! I had the prime rib; my husband, the poisson st. jacques. Both were superb. The roasted brussel spouts & vegies were excellent. My cocktail and his wine were just right....More

We had a really lovely meal in the Bistro. Relaxed service, very friendly waitress and a great wine list. Food was good rather than great, but the location and ambience more than made up for any downsides.

For entrees, we had the Northwest Seafood Dashi and Vietnamese Shellfish Stew. The spices and flavor combinations were a...More

I came here for lunch based on online reviews. The decor was high-end, and I feared they put all their energy into the ambiance. I was ready to not like the food, but it was very good. The mussel/clam chowder was great and my salmon...More

Came here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend who is local. The Hungarian mushroom soup is as delicious as boasted about! The lunch menu had many selections I would have loved to try - I settled on fish tacos which were delicious. The...More

While the town of Astoria is nothing to write home about one has to appreciate the quaintness of it all and try to appreciate what it does have to offer. The Bridgewater Bistro is in what most likely used to be an old fish processing...More
