Stopped in for a beer while in Astoria and had a great beer and excellent service. Got asked promptly if i would like a beer, and numerous times if I wanted food while drinking it by anyone who walked by. Enjoyed the beer and the...More

I loved it! Salmon was very good, fries were great, very loud atmosphere but I liked it because I was alone and made me feel at home

We always take visitors here. They have a restaurant, bar, games, sometimes music, tv, separate areas, tours of the beer making process. The oyster shooters are my favorite.

My Hubby and I spent the day in Astoria checking out the farmer's market, the River, and the Column and we stopped here for lunch. Hubby is vegan, I'm vegetarian and Fort George's menu accommodates our diets. Hubby ordered a beer flight and the hummus...More

My boyfriend and I tried 4 different beers each, all were great. Food was excellent, too. Had both unique and expected items on the menu. Our server was FANTASTIC. He was informative and offered great suggestions.

The Fort George is located in a historic building which includes a tasting room, dinning room, and outside patio. The outside area is dog friendly. We had great beers, good food, and a fun time.

We ordered the Dirty Fries and a Bacon Cheeseburger to split between the two of us. We made it through the Dirty Fries (half-order, mind you) and took the burger home in a leftover box. I expected the Dirty Fries to have ground beef over...More

We LOVED Fort George Brewery. The atmosphere is very hipster chic--located in an old warehouse on the second floor with views of the town. The menu is terrific--lots of pizzas, macaroni & cheese and burgers. We tried kumbucha for the first time (the server gave...More

This is a cool, local, non tourist place for eclectic food and wonderful craft beer. Kitchens up and down depending in what you like to eat. Very expensive renovation with comfortable seating and fantastic decor. The beer is unbelievable, original, fresh, and reasonably priced. Servers...More

Yes! The restaurant part of the establishment allows minors. I'm not sure about the tasting room in the back by the brewers, but the main part is definitely okay.

There’s always something new to try from the brewery’s rotating taps, including taster trays, pints, and growlers-to-go. The lively public house offers family-friendly dining with made-from-scratch meals using organic, natural, and local ingredients. An upstairs Woodfired Pizza venue was opened in the Summer of '13 and operates all day on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4:30-10pm on Wednesdays-Fridays and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Beautiful views and woodwork. Tours of the 30 barrel production brewery and beer canning line are available Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 4pm. Located on the site of the original 1811 settlement of Astoria, the locals lining the bar can get you up to speed on the city’s past, present, and future.
