Not being local, we got a suggestion from the Maritime Museum visitor desk. They had a list and mentioned that this brewery was up on the hill and had stout. So we tried it, thinking we would have a burger. We got there at five and it was not busy, but when we left at six there was a wait.... More

February is stout month at Ft George! Each of the levels offer slightly different brew selections and the menus vary by which room you're in. Their pizza is fantastic and we've found it to be a reliable favorite. Wilapa Bay Oysters cannot be beat- they're used in the oyster shooters here. You can get a variety of beers to go,... More

The building itself has two restaurants; a loft area which has spectacular views and a pub downstairs. We sat upstairs and had good food and very good beer. The view was very fun and the staff was very attentive three different people checked on us multiple times.

Great Hoppy IPA SELECTION. Appetizers only but had great Willapa Oyster Shooters and Poutine both excellent. Beware non Pacific North westerners Astoria is the keep weird city not Portland. I am great with that but up tight people make sure you chill or you will have a bad experience. I WILL BE BACK!

We really liked the food and atmosphere. We saved time by sitting at the bar but otherwise it would have been quite the wait, not just for seating but service as well. We'd definitely go back.

We have been here a couple of times on our trips to Astoria. This area has some great craft beer and Fort George should not be missed! They have great pizzas and a decent menu. Lots of great craft beer and a fridge to choose some to take home as well! Bring your growler for a fill if you have... More

There are three different restaurants here each with its own menu, the pub, the tasting room and the upstairs. Upstairs is the pizza parlor which is what we chose. Wood fired pizza, really good. Beers here are very good as well.

We hadn’t had any Fort George beers before, so we decided to stop in while in Astoria. That was a great choice. February is stout month and they had many different ones available on tap. We got a taster tray and enjoyed every one we tried along with a couple appetizers. The staff was wonderful too. So glad we stopped.

We went there during the Seafood and Wine Fest last April after the crowds got to be too much at the fairground. We knew from prior experience that we liked Fort George beers, but had never been to the brewery. All I can say is that if you enjoy an IPA with some reach out and grab you, they have... More

This place was poppin' on a saturday afternoon! The patio seating is perfect for a sunny day in Astoria. They have a huge selection of in house brews. Do yourself a favor and have a pint (or 3) of any of their IPAs. The food menu is excellent too. Picture amped up bar-food-by-the-sea. And pups are allowed too! Woof

Description
There’s always something new to try from the brewery’s rotating taps, including taster trays, pints, and growlers-to-go. The lively public house offers family-friendly dining with made-from-scratch meals using organic, natural, and local ingredients. An upstairs Woodfired Pizza venue was opened in the Summer of '13 and operates all day on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4:30-10pm on Wednesdays-Fridays and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Beautiful views and woodwork. Tours of the 30 barrel production brewery and beer canning line are available Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 4pm. Located on the site of the original 1811 settlement of Astoria, the locals lining the bar can get you up to speed on the city’s past, present, and future.
