I have been here a couple times and enjoyed it every time. They have a great selection of beers on tap. I have gotten seafood almost every time and I continue to be impressed.

My wife and I went there with our two teenagers and two of their friends. The menu was extensive and their beer was great. Their chowder was the best chowder I've ever had. I would go back there just for the chowder (along with a...More

The brew-pub has a wide range of beers available, as well as several ciders - and all we tried were good. The food was a bit hit-and-miss though. The bacon burger was standard but fine (not the greatest bun), and the chowder we got to...More

I had the Nocturine 5 oz beer to start, it was delicious. Then came the food, Poutin, seafood chowder, and the chicken wings. I did not care for the seafood chowder, it was way too chewy. We did enjoy the poutin before it became soggy....More

We stopped at Fort George for lunch. We went upstairs via the metal spiral staircase. The upstairs room has an open floor plan and takes advantage of the expansive river view with all the windows. Every table has a view unless you are sitting with...More

We were walking by the Ft. George and the smell wafting out was very inviting, so we went in for a bite. Not surprisingly it was a dreary day and there was a chill in the air. The atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. The...More

We ordered a beer sampler of 4 and to my surprise all the ones we ordered were really good. The food was also amazing. I got the vegetarian chilli, it was good. And, the side of garlic fries was delicious.

The food here was good and the beer even better. The staff was friendly. Would definitely go back! I got a burger and my wife got the chicken sandwich. Both were delicious

On our visit to Oregon’s coast we finished our trip off in Astoria. We love brew pubs! Fort George Brewery was on my list as soon as we decided to visit Oregon this fall. Although we pretty much ended our days there for beers and...More

Yes! The restaurant part of the establishment allows minors. I'm not sure about the tasting room in the back by the brewers, but the main part is definitely okay.

There’s always something new to try from the brewery’s rotating taps, including taster trays, pints, and growlers-to-go. The lively public house offers family-friendly dining with made-from-scratch meals using organic, natural, and local ingredients. An upstairs Woodfired Pizza venue was opened in the Summer of '13 and operates all day on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4:30-10pm on Wednesdays-Fridays and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Beautiful views and woodwork. Tours of the 30 barrel production brewery and beer canning line are available Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 4pm. Located on the site of the original 1811 settlement of Astoria, the locals lining the bar can get you up to speed on the city’s past, present, and future.
