Its an old style diner, done up very nicely. We just had a couple of Club Sandwiches but they were very good. Good menu, including a separate Dessert and coffee menu. Try the French Apple pie, Very Good.

We stopped here on our way to FDR's house. Nostalgic atmosphere, very clean diner. Fast service a good choice for a fast meal when traveling.

This place is a fun throw-back in time, and just the decor is worth visiting. They have a bakery on-site, as well as a very extensive menu! It's quite large inside, so don't be worried if there are a lot of cars in the lot. It takes quite some time just to go through all the choices. I love breakfast... More

50's looking diner, was waiting for the Happy Days gang to come walking through the door. Staff very friendly & not rushing to get you in & out. Food was fresh & very good. I had roast turkey dinner grandma would be proud. Went back next day for breakfast (French toast) they hit it out of the park. Don't miss... More

It's your typical diner food. The diner has very welcoming staff. I go there from time to time for brunch to meet up with friends.

Got in after dinner hour to Hyde Park and this diner was perfect. Such a fun throwback setting and decor. My husband like his burger very much. I had an omelet stuffed with veggies, good potatoes and amazingly tasty rye toast. Plenty of menu options. Would not hesitate to return.

While traveling upstate, we really enjoyed their diners ! This was one of the best. The food seemed fresher, and if possible, the portions were even bigger than the I-84 Diner (which was also super). The service was good, people friendly and it's just a fun place to sit, eat like a pig and watch people !

I am surprised by the number of lackluster reviews from this exceptional diner. The roasted turkey dinner (fresh turkey!) was one of the best I've ever had and it came with soup or salad. Service at the Eveready Diner was friendly and efficient. They have desserts for sale that you can take home with you - their cookies were excellent!

Eat here quite often. The menu never changes even the specials. Food is good diner food and varied. However the place needs an overhaul and it is hit and miss.

You can enjoy thanksgiving dinner every day. The entrees are delicious. All fresh and save room for homemade desserts. Yummy The decode is so cool that you need to appreciate the effort to make this restaurant an authentic dinner. LOVE this place, it is a destination everytime I'm in the area.
