Ernie's isn't trying to be a fancy joint with unusual breakfast - it's a solid grill joint with good-sized servings at a good price. Our favorite part was the banter between our waitress (Jess?) and her mom (Karen?) who both work there. Breakfast was tasty, quick and fun.

Local residents recommended we stop here, and we are so glad that we did. This place looks like something out of a 1950's kitchen, but in a good way! The staff was wonderful, we had our 2 year old grandson with us, and they genuinely treated us like we were old regulars. The food is very good, it is served... More

We stopped by Ernie's Texas Lunch for a quick breakfast while in town. We got a yummy, hot breakfast for two for $25.00, including tip. Everything was delicious and piping hot when brought out. Highly recommend!

We just stumbled across this pace while walking around. And its a real treat. Feels like it must have years ago when it first opened. And they make a really good burger too.

We found Erinie's Texas Lunch by accident. We walked to another place only to find it didn't serve breakfast so we went to Ernie's which was across the street. What a pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic. My wife had scrambled eggs made by a cook who knew how to make scrambled eggs. I had a ham and cheese omelet... More

Friendly staff, food and service were very good. No complains about the place. It is like going back in time, a little, but it was clean and breakfast was very good.

Wow, what a great place. Forget all those 'faux' diners, Ernie's is the real deal. A good range of simple well prepared food at a reasonable price. But the food is a bonus, the diner itself is a piece of living history, and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Don't give your dollars to the big chains give... More

Can't say the food blew me away but it was decent. They are known for their chili dogs and while they are a really good size, I felt they didn't really taste very special, Kind of your average dog with rather bland chili. Also, stopped for breakfast one morning and it was a good basic breakfast.
