Just riding arround looking around looking for a place to eat. Mammas our eye so we decided to try it. Glad we did.I had a single crab cake with side of pasta. Sauce was very good. My wife had veggie risotto and loved it. server could have been a little more friendly and that was the only fault.

We had a fairly good dinner at this Italian restaurant although we began our evening with a less-than-welcoming young man working the front door who didn't seem to live his job. It was nice to have a gluten free option for the pasta but the tomato sauce was overly salty. The fettuccine was good but the crab corn chowder was... More

It's a good in between restaurant. It's casual but you can go dressed up and not be out of place. The food was good but I wouldn't say amazing, they had some unique dishes, I had a salmon turnover, it was different and I enjoyed it.

We were a large group and were squeezed among 4 tables. But Marines and their wives always overcome. This is trued Italian fare and was all very good. We had one server, and he did an awesome job. Every table was served quickly and accurately with a pleasant attitutude. We will go again.

Had a glass of the house Chianti and the Eggplant Parm. Both were great. Service was pretty good and the prices were fair. I love to eat downtown near the Square and this restaurant never disappoints. I was able to park right in front and even do a bit of souveneir shopping before dinner.

Server was good, but no matter how good, he couldn't make up for the food. Food is way overpriced for cafeteria quality food. Nothing stood out at dinner. Average at best. Just a heads up that the downstairs lounge has a nasty stale alcohol stench and staff that want you to go upstairs if you want any food. Too many... More

Our group of 7 had all been to Mamma Ventuta's previously so we knew to expect good food. We were not disappointed. But having Carlos for our waiter made our visit a truly memorable one. Not only did he provide excellent service, he also has a wonderful sense of humor and played along with our group so well, particularly the... More

The staff were so kind we did not have the heart to tell them that their pre frozen and cooked food was terrible. Too much garlic, old mozzarella and tough veal. I would avoid this restaurant but feel bad as the staff are trying, they just need training to cook the food from scratch and not frozen.

We had expected a slightly more upscale experience based on the exterior, but inside, it was a little bit of a let down. Food was ok, but average. Nothing outstanding. The next table over had fish with their pasta and maybe the fans weren't working because that was all I could smell and it made me nauseous the entire time... More

The restaurant describes itself as upscale. It is upscale only by its prices. The bread served while we were waiting for the entrees was the highlight of the meal. The entrees were frankly awful. The Primavera looked gelatinous and tasted worse. The eggplant was soggy and bland and the pasta it came with was overcooked with a tasteless sauce.
