A group of 6 with Walnut Street Theater tickets, met at LaScala's for a great dinner. Reservations at 6:00 were perfect as we had ample time to dine and catch up before our 8:00 curtain call. I had the veal chop, thin and tasty buried under a bed of arugula. My wife had the scallops with risotto - excellent, The... More

With extensive experience in restaurant and pizza Lascala has perfected the pizza crust. Great toppings and sauce. I had eggplant/ricotta pizza. Homemade tiramisu was one of the best I've had! Full Italian restaurant menu. Upscale bar and clientele but good for post game dinner as well.

We had tickets for the Walnut St Theater and decided to look for something close for dinner, especially after realizing it was restaurant week. We had a superb meal, very generous portions, great service. The meal was topped off by complimentary glasses of limoncello. I especially liked the atmosphere and would have lingered longer had it not been for the... More

Looking for a place to spend my $20 Open Table reward and found LaScala. It was close to a theater we were going to and it offered free parking (unheard of in center city). Did not expect anything special but by the time we walked out, we were big fans and looking forward to our next visit. We shared the... More

Great place for business, couples, family or friends for lunch or dinner. Not cheap but not ridiculously expensive. Exquisite food generous portions and service second to none. Both a dining room and a bar scene. Take advantage of their free parking offer at local garage, just get ticket validated

In town for business and had the opportunity to have dinner with an old college friend. It was delightful; company, food, atmosphere, service, and price. I rated the restaurant as average because it was as expected. Nothing stood out, but I also didn't have any complaints. I had reservations but they were not required and/or needed. We lingered over dinner... More
