First of all parking is very inconvenient. Have to circle around the block to find a meter. Then you need to keep going out and feed the meter with tons of quarters. Ambience is the best part of the café. It is pretty cozy inside. If you never had a Mediterranean food before you would probably like it. Otherwise, it... More

Aya's is a standby for business lunches for me and many colleagues. The falafel is outstanding--crisp, flavorful, fully cooked and not greasy. It is just amazing. LIkewise, the hummus and pita are amazing. Well, then there are the delicious kabobs, and if you have space, the baklava. It isn't overcrowded, so is good for conversation. I've never been disappointed.

They have a number of delicious vegetarian options and also were extremely accommodating for allergy issues.

After an afternoon at the Academy of Natural Sciences, went to Aya's Cafe for an early dinner with my husband, two kids and my dad. The lighting was very low, but we got used to that quickly. Our server was very attentive. She gave some good recommendations and was quick with refills of drinks. We ordered the hummus trio and... More

Quiet, friendly place with excellent Greek food. We had a chicken shish kabab served over a feta salad. BYOB

We booked a reservation because I had a coupon from restaurant.com. What a pleasant surprise to find the food was excellent. The atmosphere is nice. The grilled lamb chops & the mixed vegetables were superb. My wife had the 3 meat combo, We'll be back

Aya's is not in a location where we would just walk by. We met friends for dinner-- chosen partially because we had a coupon. The food was excellent and the service unobtrusive, friendly and efficient. The grilled eggplant and stuffed grape leaves were both wonderful appetizers. The lamb entrees were outstanding. I wouldn't recommend the rice pudding. Nothing fancy, but... More

Our party of eight had a lovely meal at Aya's on a Saturday night in October. I had the grilled salmon and it was very flavorful and nicely presented with couscous. My wife had the eggplant dish. She liked the eggplant but didn't love the sauce. (The eggplant appetizer was excellent and didn't have the sauce). A couple of people... More

After reading some reviews online, we tried Aya's. This review is mixed though the restaurant was so charming and friendly that I wanted it to be better. It's a tiny, cozy place; the ambiance and decor are lovely (back pillows etc.), and the owner (I assume our waiter) was also delightful. The food was inconsistent. My husband's lamb shank was...
