The atmosphere at Amada is very fun and the staff is very attentive. The food is great - I don't think you can go wrong with anything. LOVED the Mushrooms and the Sangria is also very good. Our party size changed last minute and they were quick to accommodate us and for first time patrons, they were quick with recommendations.... More

I've been to plenty of Tapas restaurants both in Spain and in the U.S. José Garcés knocked it out of the park with Amada. Best tapas I've had in the U.S.

We had the garlic shrimp, the artichoke hearts, the green salad and the clams with chorizo, everything was very very good. As usual everything was so good, we had not been here in a long time and now I remember what we have been missing, we will be back soon.

After a late afternoon movie, we wanted a casual atmosphere dinner on an early Friday evening. Our first choice offered us terrible table locations, so we left with nothing else immediately in mind. That is when we discovered Amada. Only a few blocks from our hotel, we thought let's give it a try. We were impressed with Jose Garzas's stance... More

I had heard about Amada through friends and had been wanting to go for a while. I recently moved to Philly and a friend secured reservations. They have Valet parking (reasonably priced when compared to a parking place in the area). The atmosphere was vibrant and upscale. We arrived early so we sat at the bar for Sangria (delicious). We... Rented the restaurant for a group event and were not disappointed. Bar serves a great selection of beers and cocktails that complemented the opening appetizer platters (prosciutto, olives, breads and dips). Moved onto a buffet with a selection of more of the apps and mains. Buffet station was well stocked and staff was great in ensuring people had food and... More

My family of 5 had dinner at Amada recently after a 5 year hiatus. This restaurant was as wonderful as we remembered. Though we did not order the tasting menu, between the 5 of us we tasted close to 15 dishes and each one peaked our interest for the next. Our waiter was kind enough to say that he was... More

We ate here shortly after it first opened. It was great then and is great now. Sat at the bar and ordered octopus, squid, clams with chorizo, asparagus with poached egg and truffles and the roast pig(highlight). We also shared an incredible chocolate desert. My wife had Rioja and I had Spanish beer (Estrella). Bartender was excellent and engaging in... More

My partner and I came here to for dinner and drinks and what a great choice it was. We chose to go with the Chef's Tasting's menu with wine pairing menu. It was superb. We tried things we would not normally order and the flavors were exceptional! That paired with impeccable service, we were very pleased. Highly recommended!

This was our first time at a tapas restaurant. We did the tasting menu and the dishes were wonderful. Everything was explained well to us. The wine that was chosen for us was very good. The only reason it got four stars is because it was so loud in the restaurant and the tables were very close together.
