Apparently its all about the Whizz - who knew. This is a great cultural spot to visit whilst in the city and the lines of locals says it all. Its not fine dining and I recommend you eat it straight away but still yummy and...More

When in Philly you have to take a trip to this South Philly neighborhood that has the legendary cheesesteak wars. Pats vs Genoa’s.

I've lived in Philly my whole life. I've had thousands of cheesesteaks! Although, Pat' s is the original and cool to visit if you are not from the city, there are better places to get cheesesteaks in the city.

Pick a side, or try Pat's this time and Geno's next time. This in South Philly near the stadiums and not far from South street. Don't get cheese whiz, that all started to save money on cheese. I spent the summer in Philly and they're...More

We went Wiz W/O and loved it. Delicious bread, great meat and excellent fries served up quickly. The reputation for a great cheesesteak is well deserved, but don't sleep on the fries.

Pats was the first cheese steak I ever had in Philadelphia and even though it's a tourist attraction I'm still loyal. Locals will tell you there are better one's ( and there are trust me). But you can't go wrong here. Geno's is right across...More

Famous across the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, Pat's King of Steaks claims to have originated the cheesesteak sandwich. Whether or not this is true doesn't undermine the fact that Carmen's cheesesteak in Reading Terminal Market is better.

I tagged along with my hubby who loves Philly cheesesteaks. It's a tradition. The lines are long and fast paced. Pat and Geno's face each other. You are expected to know what you want by the time you make it to the... More
