Went on a Friday night for dinner and a show upstairs. Food was excellent! Service was excellent! A little pricey but that is what happens in the city. Would definitely recommend and go again.

The deal is, if you eat at Serrano, you get good seats for the music concerts at Tin Angel, upstairs. We did this for the previous two years, and the food wasn't really that good. This time the food was vastly improved (a new chef, we were told) - The food was almost as good as the concert (Carrie Rodriguez... More

Our dinner at Serrano is best described as meh! The menu choices were a little weird, and quite frankly we should have left as soon as we looked at it and settled for some dishes that we already thought were overpriced and combined some strange food pairings. The food was uninspired, especially for the price. $17.50 for a mediocre burger... More

My wife and I went to Serrano for dinner on Valentine's Day prior to seeing a band play upstairs at Tin Angel. We each ordered an appetizer - the mussels arrived and were very good followed shortly after by our entrees. The second never came. My wife's gnocchi were were warm at best and best described as dough-balls in a... More

When dining at Serrano in Philadelphia you receive reserved seating in an intimate music venue the Tin Angel. Having have been to the Tin Angel several times my friends and I decided to go for the fun experience, of dining and seeing a show. What a mistake! Our server who was nice was prompt in taking our order and getting... More

A fabulous environment to dine in. Beautiful, colonial bar and architecture. Unfortunately the food choices and selections dont match the quaintness of the restaurant. The meatloaf is too dry and the attached potatoes and veggies were not cooked properly. The truffle burger and chicken legs are the best items on the menu. Dont stray from those two options. Service was... More

Since all the restaurants we wanted to go to were packed we selected Serrano's. The fact that it was nearly empty should have been our first clue. The food was seriously disappointing! Mediocre at best. The portions are puny & expensive for what you get. No bread for the table unless u ask. Nothing special seemed like a sliced roll.... More

Warning to disabled people - my wife and I were very disappointed to discover there is no wheelchair access for the shows on the 2nd floor. Doing a flight of stairs in a wheelchair simply doesn't work. Neither of the two online web reservation systems shown on their website work either.

Annual tradition: Come up to Philly for a Flyers game and go out for dinner. First stop is City Tavern, which is very close by, and a fun experience whether just for drinks or also for food. But this review is about Serrano - we stumbled on it the first time we were looking for a place to eat and... More

Food downstairs great for any one in Old city and much less expensive than many of the places and the music upstairs always first rate and so intimate, great venue
