My husband and I took a day trip to Philadelphia and found our selves near Rittenhouse Square with about an hour or so to kill before we had to catch our train. We spotted Pietro's and the menu looked appealing, plus, since it was a little after 4:00, we timed it right for Happy Hour. Keep in mind, Happy Hour... More

Pietro's is my go to special lunch spot ! It is also a great dinner spot before a show, sporting event or just to feed your appetite. The pizza is delicious, as are the salads (so fresh and filling) and pastas, not to mention the hot rolls and dipping oil. I have never had a bad dish at Pietro's.

This was my first time here. Although the restaurant is quite noisy and a little on the expensive side for pizza and non-alcoholic beverages, the food is excellent. The food arrives in a timely fashion and we had a leisurely time eating our salad before the pizza came. We ordered a family style salad for 4 of us and the... More

Started with Risotto Balls as appetizer with home made bread, warm and soft. Then we enjoyed Gemelli Arugula Pollo, creamy and garlicky, and a pepperoni pizza, cheesy and spicy hot. Highly recommended after a long day touring the beautiful streets of Philadelphia

We had a great meal at Pietro's. The rolls are homemade and delicious when dipped in olive oil and herbs. We had the four cheese pizza with basil and a picante with ham and red pepper. Both were delicious. Also the Ceasar salad was terrific. Our waiter, Emmanuel, was great; friendly, efficient and right on top of everything. This was... More

One of our favorite things to do when traveling is sample a city's best pizza. Pietro's lived up to its billing. We ordered a Four Cheese Pizza, a one topping veggie pizza and one of their daily specials - Chicken Sausage Pizza with Jalapeño Peppers. All were delicious, and large! Tip - The 13" Medium pizzas are pretty big; there... More

I went here after reading some glowing reviews - and over all I have to agree with them. There is a large menu with some really impressive sounding dishes. We went for two pizzas and they didn't disappoint. Great base, delicious sauce and heaped with toppings. The only thing that let it down was the service. Maybe it was due... More

I was going to order pasta and a salad and the waiter cautioned me that the salads as well as the pastas are larger portions. I was very glad he did. There is no way I could have finished a salad and pasta. I couldn't even finish all of the pasta and I ordered the small portion vs. the regular... More

Could not be more pleased with our meal and overall experience. Two of shared risotto balls, a small salad, and one of the specialty pizzas (Pietros). Everything was delicious, the pizza was hot, they brought a side of marinara sauce, and we even had a couple of pieces to take home. Highly recommend!
