Before all the children head back to college, we spent the day in Philly museum hopping--more for us but they were good sports! So their reward was dinner at Bistro Romano and what a reward! Quiet mid week visit so we were able to find parking right on Headhouse Square and walk a half block to the restaurant. Not sure... More

I am certain I could make this a 2 page review, however; I will refrain but make it worth a quick read. Ask for Elena to be your server, first and foremost. Also, if you are a party of 2, choose to dine in the wine cellar, the most romantic $15 you'll spend this year. We have dined here on... More

Friends and I had dinner at Bistro Romano the night before our marathon run. Everything ordered was delicious (salads, pasta, dessert)! We truly loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, from the exposed brick walls, amazing bar, open entry with stairs leading to seating downstairs - gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

We decided to try Bistro for the first time tonight. Location was very easy to find, decor was very authentic and wine cellar seating was an interesting experience. We loved the environment in general and layout. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Appetizers were excellent, entrees would've have been great if they'd been cooked appropriately. We did let the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent experience at Bistro Romano. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating; food was well prepared and nicely presented. We always enjoy the ambience of the restaurant rounding it out for a delightful evening.

We came here because my husband is very much into unique environments. We reserved the wine celler table for our 5th anniversary, and it was awesome. The food was delicious and our wait staff was very attentive. Because they knew it was our anniversary, they had the table prepared and sprinkled with rose petals.

The only nice thing about this restaurant was the decor. Food was uninspiring, heavy creams without flavor or delicacy. Kind of like Olive Garden food but at 3x the price. Entertained a customer there and felt kind of embarrassed about it.

Choose this place last minute while traveling with my son. Really liked the table side Caesar salad, but the bolognese was only average. Didn't try the desserts.

I booked for dinner based on the numerous positive reviews on trip advisor. I was a special occasion, we traveled all day to get to Philadelphia to have a great italian meal and we thought we would not be disappointed, but it was mot the case. We were told we had to check in our coats yet many of the... More

Very sorry to learn of your disappointing visit to Bistro Romano. We have called you at the name and number on your reservation to discuss the visit further, however no one returned our call. In the message we apologized and offered to invite the party of four to return as our guests. We take all reviews very seriously and candidly... More
