This converted firehouse is within walking distance of Philadelphia Art Museum, Rodin Museum, and across the street from Eastern Penitentiary. The large bar is lively and the adjacent open front brings the outside tables and sidewalk into the overall restaurant atmosphere. Food was terrific, good...More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch after visiting Eastern State Penitentiary (it's right across the street) and the food was excellent! So a first glance at the menu and it seemed to be a little pricey, but considering the quality and "extras" it...More

Stopped after a tour of the penitentiary. Food took quite awhile to get and table that came in after us received their food first. Tried my first ever Philly Cheesesteak. Bland and not much meat. The brisket sandwich was tough and light on meat. Neither...More

We stopped here after visiting Eastern State Penitituary. They brought out buttermilk biscuits and cornbread with a bowl of cherries. Yummy delight. The food was well prepared and atmosphere very nice. The smoked chicken added to my salad was very good and flaverful.
