Referred by a friend, my wife and I walked to Cube Libre from our hotel on Penn's Landing. It was very crowded, but not uncomfortably so. We chose to sit at the bar and were immediately helped by the bartender. Neither of us were familiar with Cuban food other than the namesake sandwich. But we were blown away by the... More

Don't sit upstairs if you can help it. Staff seemed ill-trained in accommodating customers. They were extremely noisy while discussing how to change the seating arrangements and setting up a larger table. Plates were being thrown onto the table voices were louder than needed to be. Very distracting. This is not a place for a romantic meal. Mojitos were weak.... More

Definitely worth the price for the all you can eat tapas. Each of the tapas are pretty tasty. We were a party of four and between us we sampled most of the menu selections. Our server was helpful and didn't rush us, encouraging us to try yet another tapas. Probably the only downside was the bloody mary. It was not... More

Great atmosphere in which you feel like you’re in outdoor Havana. The ambience is wonderful and they really did a top notch job in terms of decorating the restaurant. The Mojito is the most perfect Mojito I have ever had. All the food was unbelievably delicious. It has authentic Cuban flavors and textures and Styles. Even my 11-year-old girl enjoyed... More

We've been here twice now, for lunch and brunch on busy Philly weekends. It's always a last minute plan to make a stop, but on our drive in, I always log a quick reservation in Open Table. We're always welcomed and immediately walked to our table. The food is delectable, definitely try their main coffee drink, so delicious! Our girls,... More

Stopped in during a day in Philadelphia. Bartender was the Best! He really made sure we had a good time and suggested different items to try. Everything was very good to excellent! The seafood chowder was to "Die For". Will be back.

My husband and I went here after seeing a movie at the Ritz. We really enjoyed the grilled baby octopus and scallop ceviche! The bartender was lacking in attention, even thought we sat the the bar. The 'stormy pyrate' run drink is great, Highly recommend it. We would go back. Good atmosphere and good food. Tapas style and high quality.

Nearby parking and close to historic Christ Church and Penn's Landing, check out Cuba Libre. Had a business lunch in the city and was whisked away by the atmosphere and menu to a Caribbean experience. Made me forget I was in Philadelphia. Fabulous menu, plenty of choices and wonderfully prepared and presented. Our waiter Aaron was most helpful and very... More
