Took a little trip back to Phliiy, and decided to return to Alma De Cuba , for our 3rd time.... We found this restaurant by accident about 6 years ago and what a surprise! We sat downstairs the first time.... great atmosphere... The tables, upstairs, however are easier to eat from, as the others downstairs are lower and reflect more... More

The food was good, although i did not care for the tun tacos we got as an appitizer. For my main dish i had scallops and they were AWESOME! Desert we had flan..again, delish! The service was great however did feel a little rushed at times like they were trying to move people along. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Latham Hotel and Alma de Cuba was literally around the corner. We looked at local restaurants nearby with good ratings in Yelp and we decided on Alma. We hesitated going here because the ambiance seemed like it was more of a date spot vs family friendly -- we had our 5yr old and 2 yr old... More

What a beautiful night for a walk! We called about 6pm to see if we needed reservations and we were told that the next reservation was for 10:30. They then said that they have immediate seating in the lounge area. It took us a while to walk there and when we arrived at 7:00pm there was no line and we... More

I would give this 3.5 if I could... It was a nice meal, and I enjoy the atmosphere. My friends and I were walk-ins as we decided last minute because we were in the area. Luckily they had space because of a cancellation. Service was great, food was good, but not exceptional by any means. I think this restaurant falls... More

While in Philadephia for a conference, my colleagues and I ate here. It was a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Dillon, was charming and very helpful. All his recommendations were excellent. For starters we ordered the yellow tail ceviche, shrimp ceviche, and fish tacos. The fish was incredibly fresh and amazing. For our entrees we got the duck breast, scallops and... More

We loved everything about this restaurant. The food was to die for! I had the Sangria Roja cocktail which was really delicious and not overly sweet like some sangrias. We had a trio of Ceviches which we shared. Also ordered the Royal Palm salad which was dates and almonds and blue cheese and was one of the best things I... More

We have both been to Cuba a couple times and very much enjoyed the food their and seek out Cuba restaurants. This one is one of our favorites. The cerviche and empendas, you know they are made fresh. The mojitos and sangaritas are authentic.. We love the atmosphere and service as well. Very fun place

Six people - everyone said their meal was the best. Great food, super service. Nice people. Hip joint. You just gotta try it.

This is our third visit to Alma de Cuba. The first time, during Restaurant Week, we thought it was great. Our second time was not as good. The third time, unfortunately, was not the charm. My wife and I both got the royal Palm Salad. It is among the best salads/appetizers we ever had. The entrees were disappointing. I had... More
