This location is subtle and I walked right by it on first glance. But once inside I found it cozy and modern at the same time. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly! Dishes were prepared with care and flavors for everything were distinct and tasty!

In the Rittenhouse square area, this was a super experience. The bartenders are known for their experience in mixing just the right drink and have won awards. The place is on the small side...maybe holds 100 people. We ordered mostly vegetarian dishes because they were...More

One of the most extraordinary dinners I have had in Philadelphia! We always ask for a seat at the bar in the kitchen and the chefs are as wonderful as the food. The experience rivals and is generally better than Zahav. A must try if...More

Very accommodating, we didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday night and they were able to get us a table together within 45 minutes. The jack fish was something not to miss, very buttery and fresh.

We came here for dinner. The quality of the food was overall very good, with some variance. The pumpkin toast was heavenly, and the grilled heart of romaine was excellent. The much ballyhooed Amish chicken, on the other hand, was basically chicken. The Jewish apple...More

The food was very good to excellent. We live in Providence, Rhode Island which has good and excellent restaurants so I can’t say that Vernick was better than any in Providence but it was certainly good and I recommend it. Noise level, however, was very...More
