Great small plate dining of some of Greece’s best flavors! Service was top notch, intimate setting, quiet and calm atmosphere. Very enjoyable. It was a meal that took us back down memory lane to our time in Greece. Thank you!!

Intimately lit space with very friendly bartenders. The dolmas--grilled--are the best I've had. Excellent lamb gyros, too. It's become my go-to when in Philly.

Our group of 11 stumbled upon this gem totally by accident. We were all pleasantly surprised. The outdoor tents were warm and cozy during a very cold night. Staff was attentive and friendly. Beer selections were good. This will definitely be on our agenda for...More

Excellent food: brussel sprouts, beet salad, pastitsio, octopus, and shrimp souvlaki. I would order all again except for the pastitsio, which was a little dry. The octopus (1 large tentacle) was particularly delicious. Drinks were yummy and with a Greek twist: kinouli, and greek mojito....More

We tried this for the first time before the Walnut Street Theater and thought the food was fine. It is really more a bar that also serves food than a restaurant. The bar is very lively and rather loud during happy hour so be prepared....More

Description
Opa is a new Modern Greek restaurant and bar located in Center City's Midtown Village neighborhood. The menu features a fresh take on traditional Greek flavors. Featured items from the mezedes (small plates) include herbed keftedes (meatballs) in a ouzo-tomato sauce, octopus and spinach croquettes served with a smokey feta dip. Large plates offer a variety of items such as striped bass and pastitsio. The signature cocktail list and Greek wine selection offer the perfect complement to your meal. Acclaimed designer, Jun Aizaki/Creme, created an alluring setting which includes a striking birch branch canopy. Walk-in seating is available at the 24 seat bar and offers the full menu.
