Sign appeared on the door saying that the restaurant was closed as of 1/18/17. We attended a cocktail party there a few weeks ago and had no idea that it was going to close.

We received a gift card as a Christmas gift from our son who prefers Steven Starr restaurants. We made reservations for a [January] Saturday night dinner for two only to arrive to a dark and locked Sbraga!! Open Table was still allowing reservations to be made and sbragadining.com was still selling gift cards! In addition, Kevin Sbraga of Top Chef... More

We chose Sbraga based on reviews not only from Trip Advisor but several best of Philly guides. This was our first visit to the city since childhood and we wanted to have a special dinner. Sbraga did not disappoint! At the time we visited in October, it was a prix fixe menu celebrating the restaurant's 5th anniversary. A fabulous 4-course... More

We found this restaurant to be ok, nothing special. It appears to cater to the theater/Kimmel Center crowd so it felt a little hectic with tables turning over quickly and the limited price fixe menu. Our servers were great, no problems there at all, but it didn't have the relaxing atmosphere that we would have liked. We found pretty much... More

Dined at Spraga last night and was beyond impressed. With a cozy, but trendy atmosphere, and food that was a delight I can hardly wait to go back. I saw one reviewer commented that the food was "interesting and tasty" and that is the perfect description. A must stop for any foodie.

A group of us were visiting Philadelphia and decided to try Sbraga after seeing other great reviews. We were not disappointed. The food and service were delectable and first class. I can be a picky eater at times so I was somewhat apprehensive about the Prix fixe menu. there were a wide range of options thru out the four courses.... More

First of all Kevin Sbraga was not in the kitchen last night The loud rap music sound track playing until we asked that they turn it down is not conducive to fine dining The foie gras soup had so much ginger in it my mouth was burning The smoked Gorgonzola cheese in the salad was interesting but to me it... I like food, but I love food that is interesting and tasty. On this first visit, we were greeted and seated immediately, and our service was attentive but somewhat detached. My one kvetch is that if your food is why people come to your restaurant, give them an idea about what's in it. Last night we had to ask about... More

Finally had dinner here last night with a couple of friends after wanting to come here for years. The four-course dinner was excellent! Each course was clearly prepared with care. I highly recommend the beef tartare as an opener! Filet mignon with mashed potatoes and oxtail was worth the up-charge as was the spaghetti with king crab. My only criticism... More

We had the most delightful evening meal at Sbraga's recently. When there are chefs in the family that you are dining with, the standards are high.....on everything not just the food. Sbraga's delivered across the board: service, ambiance, value...and especially....the food. Oh...the food! We were lucky enough to experience the restaurant's anniversary tasting menu @ $45/per person. This was a... More
