The names is somewhat misleading. They don't do expressos. Nor am s the freshly squeezed orange juice freshly squeezed. I ordered scrambled eggs on black pumpernickel. Strangely for the US, the scrambled eggs may gave been singular, not plural, and were scrambled in the Italian way, i.e folded. No smile with the service. Fine if you want an American diner-style... Just visited Rollers for the first time and had a great breakfast today. The frittata of the day (with ham, scallions and maple flavored apples) was fabulous, as was the egg white omelette my other half had. Service was prompt, friendly, and the place was busy. Would definitely return next time I am in Chestnut Hill. Cash only, no credit... More

Sad, really, Rollers has the potential to be my neighbor go to breakfast place, but it's not. First, the place needs a good cleaning. The interior is dated and dingy but it's when I look up at the tops of the light fixtures and the ventilation system, covered with layers of greasy dirt, that my stomach turns. The food is... More

The food here is usually good, I love the breakfast quesadilla. However, my most resent visits have left much to be desired. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and when it arrived it was clearly a different cook in the kitchen. BUT the bad part was the taste. Nasty (kind of rancid) oil flavors in the potatoes and burnt pieces on... More

Fun, cute, and informal cafe/diner. Friendly, fast service. The 3 grain pancakes with maple apples is great. Their omlettes are very good as well. Good coffee too.

Lots of interesting breakfast options. The pancakes are multigrain, the french toast very custardy. Most importantly:good cup of joe.

Hankering for a tasty breakfast - this is the place. I repeatedly have the breakfast quesadilla. Filled with the fluffiest of scrambled eggs and topped with melted cheese, they are served hot and well toasted with a side of roasted potatoes, homemade salsa and sour cream. I haven't been able to finish it yet and I have a big appetite!... More

Northwest Philly is surprisingly short on good breakfast places. We're lousy with great spots for lunch and dinner and there is a top-notch bar for almost every taste, but breakfast is sadly underdeveloped hereabouts. The best I've found so far is Roller's Express-o. In spite of the gag-worthy name, this place is a gem. What makes this little 22-seater work... More

We have been going to Roller's various restaurants over 25 years. Obviously, since we keep returning, we like the food. However, just for once I wish they wouldn't crowd into such a small space. They do serve Great Food! The nutella French toast is fantastic. The apple pancakes were very good. If you are looking for a breakfast place that... More
