It was really hard to settle on a place to grab a late breakfast with all the options that Reading Terminal had to offer. But, I'm happy we decided on Beck's! The ladies behind the counter were so kind and patient, and let my husband I sample the gator gumbo, etouffe and chowder before we decided on our orders. My... More

Just eat here. That's the short and sweet of it. You will not be disappointed! We ate here twice within 24 hours! Coffee from Cafe du Monde....HALLELUJAH! (I may have had 3 or more cups of this fantastic coffee). Beignets that were powdered sugar pillow perfections! Jambalaya with just the right amount of heat! And the Fried Mac N Cheese... More

The inside scope of the Muffuletta sandwich is that the bread albeit a bit stale is simply great. The meat is delicious and the whole composition is very yummy. In spite of being super busy the service comes with a friendly smile

I was waiting in line to get a cheese steak bagel, and decided to jump ship to this place. Po Boy breakfast sandwich with Andouille sausage, an order of sweet potato fries, and corn bread. It was fantastic, though, simple. I ordered in the togo line, but then a seat opened up so I walked around to their counter. Goods:... More

My family had several Philly cheesesteak sandwiches in Philadelphia but none came even close to the train wreck. The cajun andouille and creole mayo gave just the right amount of kick. Also get some fried mac n cheese balls while they make your sandwich, not too much breading...a perfectly satisfying crunch on the outside with creamy macaroni inside. If I... More

We were greeted by the lovely Joanne. We arrived at 8 on the dot and she immediately shad us sit down. Plenty of choices to choose from. I had the spinach and egg white omlet which comes with sweet potato fries and corn bread for $11. It was delicious! Coffee was good too! It was definitely better eating here than... More

We stopped into the Reading Station for a quick lunch and stumbled upon Beck's Cajun. We got the fried shrimp platter with red beans and rice. Also got the fried oyster poboy- which was awesome! But the best poboy we got was the train wreck! It's an amped up cajun version of the Philly cheese steak. They even. Threw in... More

What a lot to choose from! I decided on the shrimp and chicken gumbo over jambalaya rice. It was excellent. I also got a cornbread with it which was good for mopping the sauce. I wish I had time to try their other Cajun specialities

Its small like other folks said and unassuming. But, very good and very spicy! Good food and a great find and glad I bought from them. The market is just crazy overwhelming with all the food choices but try to grab something here. I got the cajun chicken and a side and very good.
