Try the turnip cakes and the string beans. Shu mai was different than I'm used to, but fantastic! My family loved the shrimp dumplings so much we had to order more. My husband was ecstatic about the prices!

Got to Dim Sum Garden at 10 pm and the place was still open and packed. Ordered the pork noodle dish with big, thick egg noodles, ground beef and sauce! Delicious! We shared it between the two of us. Then we ordered the chicken dumplings...More
Dumplings were delicious! Crispy noodle dish was not my favorite, tasted like weak ramen noodles. This place is CASH ONLY, it does not state that anywhere when you enter and they don't tell you that when seating you. Kinda explains the ATM in the front...More
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Dim Sum Garden. The restaurant is very nice on the inside and the staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered several dim sum selections and thought they were all well prepared and very tasty. We didn't know it was...More
Dined here while visiting Philly's Chinatown, as research proved this is one of the best in Chinatown. Very good Dim Sum here, with reasonable prices. I especially enjoyed the soup dumplings. Chinese fare, such as the lo mein and chicken and broccoli over white rice,...More

Recommend this spot as we always have a great meal with consistent quality. Always a busy place and BYOB great perk. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because our soup dumplings (which are one of the reasons we return when we're in town)...More
This restaurant was recommended by a local and he was right! Food was perfectly cooked with subtle flavors and good portions. A substantial variety of dishes and the prices were very reasonable. We'd go back next time we visit Philly.
Dim sum was OK but not outstanding. We had some shrimp eggrolls, pork and chive fried dumplings, pork steamed dumplings, and shrimp on a stick. Everything was OK but not as flavorful as one might have liked. The selection of dim sum on offer was...More
So yummy stopped here twice while in Philly. Authentic Dim Sum - no carts. Made fresh to order. Busy place, cash only. Soup dumplings were my favorite. A much better choice than wonton soup (pretty mushy wontons). Service we ok. Fried dumplings were better than...More
