My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the tap room. My cocktail, Springtime in Paris, was a tasty start to our meal. My crab cake sandwich and broccoli soup was delicious and my husband loved the onion soup and petit filet. For dessert an ice cream cone from the adjoining ice cream shop.

Stop by after work on occasion to socialize with friends. Normally have a beer of two, but have on occasion tried one or two of your signature martinis. Bartenders are friendly and well informed.

Dear _rgoonan, Thank you for posting your thoughts of the Tap Room. We find that the intimate and casual setting is great for an after-work drink with friends as well as a romantic dinner for two. Our bartenders are long term staff members (some as long as 15 years) and take a genuine interest in their craft. We are happy... More

The Tap Room is one of two restaurants inside the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. It reminds me of a combo restaurant/pub and has a relaxing atmosphere. Choose a table with a view of charming Main Street or sit at the bar. The full menu offers many delicious options. You can go full dinner, lunch, breakfast--or bar food and drinks. The Tap... More

Over priced and mediocre food. The ambiance is nice but not what I was looking for in terms of lunch. Good for drinks and brunch but that would be it. Small portions and nothing particularly special despite the enticing menu. There are other, better places where you can spend your money.

We tried the Sunday Brunch based on friends suggestions. It was good but not great. It was 35.00 per person very hard to get reservations and servers seemed only interested in larger parties for bigger tips.We most likely will not be back.

About a week ago I had dinner with business associates from CA. The food was wonderful and the service great. They even boxed up the included desert for us to take home. Lamb chops were cooked to perfection and vegetables were delicious. I've been here before and the food and service is always excellent.

We have been to this part numerous times in the last two years. Drink choices are outstanding. The staff are always friendly and courteous and free with good conversation. I would recommend this on a stop in the bar tour area of downtown

It is a very cozy place to sit and have drinks and listen to amazing jazz music. We enjoyed relaxing in this casual atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I usually visit Bethlehem a couple times each year and we always stay at Hotel Bethlehem. We love 1741 on the Terrace, but have dined at the Tap Room for breakfasts and times when 1741 is booked for a private event. Most of our experiences were fine. The service was good and the food was decent. We... More
