When they said "Enjoy a taste of history" on the beautiful sign out front, I didn't think it would be in the literal sense -- day old or older sandwiches that would make a truck stop seem gourmet. This is good only for ice cream or a cold drink after visiting the park. I was disappointed to find the decor... More

Culp's used to be good. A real American meal kind of place. Fun diner atmosphere, but now (June 2016) it is really a major let down. They might as well hang a sign pointing to the Carillon Brewery and just tell people to eat there. No burgers, no fries, no onion rings....just quicky cold sandwiches, a few salads....really disappointing. I've... More

Just came across this brewery museum restaurant and found the atmosphere to be charming. Really enjoyed the experience and food... all at a reasonable price

Culps is located near the entrance to Carillon Park, which is a well done condensed history of Dayton's accomplishments and history. Take a break for lunch while learning about many inventions that originated in Dayton such as the airplane, the automotive self-starter and the cash register. Meals are simple but good, and during nice weather you have the option of... More

Visited for lunch with my office. The space was clean and had plenty of seating. The atmosphere was friendly. The menu had variety for a light lunch with chips and fruit available. Salads were delicious!

We stopped when we saw one of the workers grilling over a old style grill and got one hot and fresh. This paired with a root beer and bag of Mike Sell's chips hit the spot as we strolled through the park looking over the history. We didn't get any (watching the sweets) but there was a line to get... This is a very casual diner-like place to eat at the Carillon Historical Park. The food, atmosphere, décor is all diner. Food is ok, kids liked it. Sweet potato fries here and the chicken salad sandwich are worth staying to eat on-site. Decent pricing - family fun.

Part of Carillon Historical Park, the café features a 40s and 50s décor. While there is a limited range of food options and the fare is more closely related to what we call fast food today, it was good and not overly expensive. The service was great, and the place was well maintained.

An adult grilled cheese. Has 2 cheeses, bacon (everything is better with bacon), and tomato. I know, sounds dull, GIVE IT A TRY. The wife had the triple-salad and thought it was great.

This cafe is very retro, with the servers' uniforms and furniture. The food was good, service very good. If you're hungry it's an okay place to eat, but one I would not go back to.
