´Tis a grand evening. From the Canadian Maritimes to Key West; From Anchorage to Costa Rica, Sweeney’s Seafood is one of the best seafood houses in North America. We have experience in dining coastal Atlantic from the Canadian Maritimes to Key West, and coastal Pacific from Anchorage to Costa Rica, and Sweeney’s fish house is precisely the premium fish house... My husband and I started dining here about a year and half ago and we enjoy it. My husband regularly orders the cajun pasta or the paella. I love their fillet oscar style. Their creme brule could be better if the top was done just before serving and still warm but it's served cold like its been waiting in the... More

Dinner was fantastic. Excellent scallops and jambalaya. Very nice sized portions at a reasonable price. Service was a little slow, but all in all a good experience.

Not a lot of seafood options in the area but this one is really rough. The restaurant smells fishy, and good fish should not smell, so no excuses there. The menu has fine-dining prices with diner quality food and presentation. It cost my grandfather and I $67 to eat here. I simply recommend going elsewhere.

This was my first time here. I chose to order the "Oscar" filet. I asked for it medium... it came our Rare. They had to cook it more. Also one of our companions Salmon was under cooked as well. Loved the presentation of our food, very fancy! The "ship wreck" drink was delicious!! Would probably go back again. Nice atmosphere!

First, the clam chowder is excellent. The special boullabaise was underwhelming. Our server was efficient, even overly so. We weren't finished with our soups when our entrees came out. Throughout the meal she wanted to clear dishes without asking if we were finished. We said something about it and she responded well. The key lime pie was made from scratch... More

This place is an awesome restaurant, that you have to look close to find. Parking sucks, but the food is great. They make their calamari in thick strips instead of the rings, which makes the best calamari in the world! Service is great, a nice craft beer selection and the seafood is always fresh.

Had dinner with a friend. My meal started fine with a nice Caesar salad, but went downhill when my entree arrived. I had a fisherman's platter with clams, flounder and shrimp. The 3 shrimp were fresh and flavorful, but the piece of flounder was thin and tasted old. However, it was the clams that were really terrible. Instead of clam... More

While in town visiting from Cleveland my son-in-law and I were on our own for dinner, since my daughter and granddaughter were at an event for the evening, so he has always enjoyed Sweeney's Seafood and wanted to take me there for dinner. I thought the food was mediocre and the portions were awfully small. Our server was great and... More
