In the middle of the road on this one. The burgers are what you'd expect of a ma & pa type joint(onion rings are well done though). Service needs a little work. What puts me on the fence is that it's kind of an icon here-- gotta eat there once just to say you have. In jest we have named... More

We stayed in Arco on a Sunday night, so there weren´t many places to choose. We were quite happy with choosing Pickle´s. We had a decent dinner with sandwiches, onion rings and a burger. The fries were really good. Servings could have been a little bigger. Don´t opt for the onion rings instead of the fries, we only got a... More

The burgers are very good. I love John's seasoning. It makes anything taste good. He makes it in hiuse. I wish I could by it online. Must call to arrange for shipping.

My husband and I visited Arco last weekend for a Halloween party with the local chapter of a motorcycle club. A wild time was had by all. The next morning, we were hankering for a good stick-to-the-ribs breakfast and Pickle's delivered. Between the big neon sign exhorting you to "EAT," the green paint job on the exterior and the big... We saw the signage on the way to Arco and it was lunch time when we arrived so we looked for Pickle's Place. It wasn't hard to find. I think that we just beat the rush ' cause the place filled up quickly. I had the Reuben and quite enjoyed it. After seeing the soup going by to other tables,... More

Pickle's Place seemed to be one of the small town restaurants where the locals all go. There isn't anything fancy about it but Arco isn't a fancy town. The food was really good. I had a basic sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while. The only bad part was the food was... More

We stopped for breakfast here. Service was good as was the food. My husband had steak and eggs and I had a vegetable omelet and a piece of homemade pumpkin pie. The food was good. It would s a small out of the way cafe. Understand they have fabulous biscuits and gravy too!

This is what we look for when we travel. Out of the way, cool non-chain places to eat. Just a small town café that is just fun, and with good food. Get the Atomic burger. It is a treat. Make sure you get some of their seasoning. One of their family will probably wait on you
