Been coming to this place for around 30+ yrs! Good little 50's style place for breakfast.... If they played some old Patsy Cline tunes you would step back fifty years!! Neat old place, Good Denver omelette!

We stayed at the Vagabond Inn the previous night so we decided to have a hot breakfast here. I'm so glad we did! Our waitress Sharon was so sweet and funny. She took our order in a timely manner and accurately. The food didn't take long to get to us and our glasses and mugs were kept full. I ordered... More

Loved this place! The ladies look after you well and the menu offers down home selections. A great place to stop for breakfast.

Down home food. Great staff of older women. Lots and lots of food. Not gourmet, but honest. Reminds me of many places when I was a kid. Lovely booths. Comfortable.

This is definitely a hometown place. While some of the travelers staying at the motel undoubtedly eat here, it's mostly locals who've been coming here for years. Opened in 1966, the Vagabond has a broad menu of full dinners that include a dessert option, sandwiches, breakfasts. You name it; it's probably on their menu. We're always pleased with the food... Been coming to this classic vintage joint since I was a kid. A lot of the gal food servers are still working there after all these years. It has a cozy feel and the food is always goo.

Had the opportunity to take a visitor to breakfast at the Vagabond, hadn't been there for awhile. This place is probably the best known breakfast house in Ventura, and has been under the same ownership for decades. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the Belgian waffles are out of this world! The coffee keeps coming as long as... More

We always go here for breakfast in Ventura - even if we are staying at a hotel that serves breakfast. The waffles are the BEST. Service is consistently friendly.

We were actually staying next door at the Bestwestern Inn and decided to give this place a try and were presently surprised. Clean, excellent service, and very good food at a reasonable price. There open for breakfast lunch and dinner.

We stayed next door for a week and this diner was a bright spot in our stay. Had something different almost every day and way not disappointed in the quality of the food. Really liked the chicken fried steak - not too much breading and an good size piece of tenderized steak. They have specials everyday and and many of... More
