Highly recommend Caldo de res, caldillo & green chile cheeseburger. Good service too! Combination Mexican plate on lunch menu was enjoyed also.

We moved from El Paso to Houston 20 years ago. We stopped by yesterday and loved the food so much that we went back today. Caldillo and Chile Colorado were especially good. We had a different server each day and they were exceptional.
While traveling from out of town, we had a large group outing to the Riviera and it was great! The food was fabulous, the service was fantastic and the ambience is pretty typical. I strongly suggest it, and I love Mexican food.
So often, on particular days, there are regulars at the "Riv" for breakfast. I see many familiar faces when I sit down and order the enchiladas (red, my preference) with an egg, straight up and looking at me. The pico de gallo is not better...More
