If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Came here for a special military dinner that was reserved in advance. We waited an hour to be seated and another 2 hours to receive our food. Everyone's food came out ice cold and cooked incorrectly. Mind you, these meals cost about $30.00 each. We brought this to the attention of management,... More

I went to the restaurant in hopes of getting an excellent meal. The ribeye steak was cooked to order and juicy, but the salty seasoning/tenderizer? was overpowering. Small plastic bowls with obvious staining were placed in stacks on tables and the stains should have been removed before presenting to customers. The baked potato was not as warm as it should... We liked the food and found some less expensive items on the menu. However, everything is pretty salty, even the cooked veggies. They were still tasty, but I cook with much less salt at home. Our waitress was great. It was within easy walking distance of our Candlewood Suites hotel, which was nice after a long day on the road.

This used to be one of my favorites but now that there has been a change in ownership there has been a real decline in everything!!! Food, service, and a total lack of integrity. I will tell anyone who will listen to avoid this restaurant, the owner Maria has alot to learn!

My son, his fiancé, and me visited this restaurant on January 26, 2017. I decided to try the steak burger as opposed to the steak tampiquena that I usually have. The second bite I took had something solid in it that I quickly took from my mouth. I called our waiter, Dakota; a very pleasant young man, to show him... More

We went on a Sunday and we order a Top Sirloin 16 oz and a Texas Brisket Sandwich, the food was amazing. Perfect place to have drinks or go with your couple, friends or family

The week before Christmas 2016 our family had a birthday dinner to celebrate my mother’s 89th birthday, and my son-in-law’s birthday, I called ahead to let Great American know we were coming and there would be 13 of us. When we arrived they had a table ready and we were seated in a very reasonable amount of time. We have... More

The food was ok but not worth the wait. The ambiance is outdated. The service staff seems overwhelmed by the average Sunday lunch crowd.

On the way home from El Paso we stopped in the Great American steakhouse for a late lunch. The first thing we noticed was a foul odor as we came into the entrance of a backed up sewer. We were a little skeptical but went in, as we entered the dining area the odor went away. (Everyone has a bad... More
