Sweet Basil has the best Thai food I've ever had. For such a small town you wouldn't expect such great food, but it is better than any place I can find in Las Vegas.

I asked for a number 10 on the spicy scale (10 out of 10) and the chef come out to double check that I really wanted a 10. True to order and expectation, the curry was hot. The place is small, so all the other guests were in on the fun of watching me sweat the hot stuff.

I love green curry and these kinds make an amazing green curry. It was actually some of the best I have had. We also hit and order of their chicken coconut soup that was super good. I thought the service was adequate and the place is clean and cozy. I will be eating here again.

The wife had the vegetable curry dish, I stayed with the pork pad tai dish, the wife had the tangy sour soup and I had the squid as appetizers.. Fabulous.. The flavors and accent right down to the degree of spicy was perfect, especially on a cold afternoon in Cedar City.. The pork was grounded as oppose to thin slices..... More

The food and the service was great. We had a party of four and were able to all order something different. All different curries. All tasty. We really enjoyed our food.

I was staying nearby and had a very long travel day, so I looked for a place I could get takeout in the immediate area of Exit 57. So I drove over to Sweet Basil Thai and placed my order. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I had my dinner and was on my way back to the... More

Very fresh ingredients prepared exactly as I would expect them to be. Since they do not have an alcohol license, I would recommend trying the Thai Iced Tea, a refreshing mix of special Thai Tea and half and half to make it a very smooth drink.

This out of the way place, across from Walmart is fair but good for Cedar City. The appetizer 'crab rangoon' was not very good. It consisted of a piece of fake crab (leg meat) laying along side of a filling of cream cheese wrapped in a won ton wrapper and deep fried. They appeared to be mass produced and no... More

We were in Cedar City, like so many others, for the Shakespeare Festival and selected this restaurant which was fairly close to our hotel. I have had better Thai food, but we enjoyed our meal We had two different currys, both with some peanut flavor. I ordered heat level at a 2 and my wife at a 1, The one... More

What a wonderful restaurant! Fabulous food, a simple but pleasing room, and the owners came and visited with us, such a nice personal touch. We'll probably arrange our schedules so as to eat here when we're in or driving through Cedar City.

Thank Phyllis H
