Visits to 'Second Avenue Deli's) ( 33rd Street and First Avenue) provide 'yummy' Jewish style delicatessen food. Corn Beef, Tongue, Pastrami, potatoes pancakes, etc. Food tastes of bygone eras. Forget the calorie and low fat count (You can still get a low fat meal such...More

Great food, we were waiting out the rain in our hotel room and had the food delivered via Postmates. The salad sampler and my chicken salad sandwich were amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Great setting and very good service. Very good brisket and pastrami, but the sandwiches lack vegetables unless you pay for them. The turkey sandwich was the kind you would make at home. Didn't like the free pickles. Moreover it was really expensive.

Yes -- both locations. The Kashrut certification is online and of course displayed in the store. I can't print a link on TA, but if you search on Google with the following words, you can see it: 2nd Avenue deli NYC kosher

Should trip adviser decide my answer is inappropriate, don't post it. It is my honest answer which is trying to help the questioner decide what choice to make. I am suggesting a viable alternative to be constructive.
